Hope he proves me wrong because in all honesty I think he's meh.
    But best of luck Luka.

I think he is and will be quite an upgrade in our midfield department. Let's hope he is the "something" that we've been missing for years now. Welcome Luka!

Don't think he's all that. Not some big upgrade to what we already have. Kinda meh about the transfer. We definitely paid a lot more than what he's worth in my opinion.

Obviously i hope he does well and help us regain our league title. Will be interesting to see what other business we might do. RB is definite need.

Well, I'm glad this is finally over. I don't think he's nearly worth what we paid for him, but I hope I'm wrong and he can justify the huge transfer fee.

What position do you guys thnk he's going to play? he's a pretty versatile player. He can pretty much play in every midfield position exceptthe DM position. I hope he plays alongside alonso (take khedira's position).

I don't think he's worth that much money but he's still one of the top 10 midfielder int he world atm. He has a lot to prove so it should be an interesting season.

I'm excited to see how he will fit in, a very good player who I think will do well here.

For the amount he's coming for he better be performing, otherwise he's going to get heat just like Coentrao.

If Lass & Khedira are what's stopping him from getting into the starting 11, then ..

Coentrao is Portuguese so he's pretty much f*cked unless he plays at world class level. Zaragoza fans are doing the same to Postiga as well. :D

Great player, but he won't have much playing time behind Alonso. i don't think he will play along side Alonso.

What's wrong with you Luka?! You're joining a sinking ship!!!

Tidy player who can play several positions and leaves everything on the pitch. We've paid more than he's worth but I guess we our name guarantees we do that for most players.

At the very least it's more competition within the squad for a position that we do need upgrading. Khedira was way too settled in that role for someone who has never really excelled at the club. But if Xabi keeps up his current form then his arse could do with a benching.

Good player, but not a world beater. We've paid a premium too, so he better turn into one. :D

When he regains full match fitness, i expect him to take Ozil position if Ozil is still sucking balls in a few weeks time.

Should be interesting season.. I will keep an eye out for him this coming Liga and CL season...

Of course I don't want him taking over our boys spots ;) (Khedira and Ozil)

Glad it's over but it could be some weeks before he's fit and starts contributing to this squad. We still have a lot of work to do in the meantime but I genuinely wished this could have been resolved sooner so that Luka would be ready for the start of the season or at least by now.

Will hold off on any judgement of the player until he has had time to settle.

He's passed the medical!! Now he is off to the 'defend set pieces test' ... if he passes that, we are good to go.

Uh any FB with a 30 million euro pricetag is going to get heat if they aren't playing at world class level. ;)
