Interesting. Do you happen to know what their asking price is for him? Ajax and Vitesse have agreed on a fee. Bye Theo. Will Markus Henriksen be his replacement?
Why mention Henriksen? I know the player but is there even a hint of a rumor about interest? I would think that he would be expensive.
Henriksens name has been going around a lot lately on the Ajax boards everywhere. His fee should be around 2m I think? Chris David and Dejan Meleg their transfer news have gone AWOL for a min.
I dont - the wishful thinking of fans puts it around 3M. He could be an interesting player to be groomed, he has an excellent shot and decent technique, and he's getting past the baby mistakes.
Henriksen seems like he could be a really good fit for our midfield especially as a compliment to Eriksen. I'm speculating here but from what I read and see on youtube he seems more like the type of midfielder we all wish De Jong was. Less of a goal poacher and more of a box to box presence.
Lol sorry, they are still linked to Ajax, but there hasn't been any news about a possible deal for almost a month now in both cases.
If it's true what you say about his club being cash-strapped and Ajax has already made an offer then perhaps he's more of a likely back-up to Sigie than Armenteros. Overmars is still looking for another option upfront.
Just been announced by Swansea that they've signed Ki from Celtic. Scots might sign Henriksen now as his replacement.
Some more official news on Helenius today: Club is thought to be asking for 2M. Fulham and Trapzonspor (the latter an unlikely destination) are in the picture, no word on Ajax. He will probably go in this window.
Has Sana now scored more goals for Ajax than in all years at IGK Götenborg? Also looks like a well rounded player. I didn't like Serero at times.
Different personnel, same system. Schone and Serero were exchanging that Anita's role briefly. Moisander looking alright so far. Sana with his 3rd goal for Ajax and we're 3-0 up already.
I think Serero is a very capable player but when he gets his chances in the first team he seems to go into his shell a little. So far in this game he needs to turn with the ball and look for a forward pass more. He's been giving the pass straight back when he gets it. Given a run in the team I think he will perform pretty well.
Exactly. He takes the flow out of the game. I think I have a bit of a soft spot fro him, but if we talk about quality .... I hope he goes out and Ajax moves on as fast as possible to Boccara in DM and move Schone into 1 of the 2 more attacking midfield positions. One more point: Sana has to celebrate his goals with the team, certainly after that splendid assist from VdW. VdW was waiting for him to come, but he went on a solo trip to the crowd. Maybe that it's about his first real goal in the Arena and the it's all good, but these kinds of things piss me off if he turns out to be another Altidore (sorry, I know he is USA kid, but he shines in taking all credit). I would even say that a real pro player should take this very serious.
Serero seems a bit hyper and uncontrolled. Maybe it's just a mental thing. Sana don't seem like the selfish type. Last time he was sure to thank Siem de Jong when he was gifted a goal.
I don't really see only problems with turning and playing forward. His first touch is not good enough. That having said, it could be a case of nervousness and balls therefor not sticking to his foot. The point however is that this will be one of the most relax, low pressure games there will be. NAC is horrible. Childish defending with that first goal.
On the positive, he's almost always playing himself free when he doesn't have the ball. It's a revelation compared to Janssen.
