Everyone's entitled to their evaluations, but I think Lee Seunggi would make a great winger playing next to Ku Jachul, as he was against Lebanon. Wing is where Lee should be playing in the future anyways if he wants to have a future in Europe. His instincts more resemble those of a forward than it does a midfielder.

Also, I would be very shocked if Lee Chungyong started against Uzbekistan. The national team have been quietly making a run since Choi Kanghee's arrival, and Lee was in no part of that. The depth at the wings is much higher than it was prior to his injury and his 'replacements' have been performing, which means Lee is going to have to earn his way into the starting eleven. Kim Hyungbum played well against Zambia, and the likes of Nam Taehee, Kim Bokyung, and Lee Seunggi can all play on the right. And then there's Lee Keunho who had been playing as a winger under Choi Kanghee. Son Heungmin is also in the depth chart somewhere although he's most likely not getting the call in September. Choi Kanghee knows it's important to keep the competition going and he won't red carpet Lee Chungyong's return.

Seo Jungjin won't be called up any time soon. He's behind 6 or 7 players.

I agree with ksock. I want to see Lee Seung Gi play the wings against the Uzis. It'll also be nice to have LCY with the team to slowly re-integrate him into the fold. I don't think calling LCY up this time around was a bad idea at all.

Saves him a week of championship abuse.

Also I think he might want a break at home after I presume a hard summer of training.

Is CKH really stupid enough to call in KBK for this? After he's been with Cardiff for what would most likely be two weeks?

other than an injury it wouldn't hurt for him to go since the match is just in Uzbekistan and he wouldn't miss any games cause its an international break

Jesus... Ricketts backs off and just gave too much space for that shot. Bolton down 1-0.

The Bolton defence is making Simon Cox look like Messi.

Bolton are playing terrible. LCY not getting many touches. He can't be happy playing in a team of such woeful quality.
