Claudine takes Robbie to vegas http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/irishsun/irishsunnews/article4418289.ece
Damn almost a month without PIE! Keano is a stronger man than me, I can't see more than 2 days (and that takes alot of self control) with out sweet pie !
Here's an interesting article on Keane: http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/article/2012/07/22/keane-continues-fantastic-form-galaxy-drop-chivas ... although I'm not sure what to say about this quote.
That's very good news. We have been lethal recently b/c of Donovan and Keane and to a lesser extent Becks. To state the obvious - losing 1 of the 3 is better than losing 2 of them. We just need to find someone to combine with Keane - someone who make well timed, deceptive passes on the ground. Villarreal?
Robbie's the wheel deal http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/irishsun/irishsunnews/4444212/Robbies-the-wheel-deal.html
Robbie's been called up to Ireland again for qualifiers in September. http://www.fai.ie/international/senior-men/102691.html
Looks like the Galaxy are being sued over their acquisition of Keane. http://theoriginalwinger.com/2012-0...wsuit-over-robbie-keane-transfer-to-la-galaxy I don't like the idea of the Galaxy burning bridges or getting a bad rep over acquiring players. And I don't know all the details obviously just what's in the article. But if there is no contract, and just an assumption of what they customarily should receive, then they really don't have a case. Because the Galaxy could just say, "We customarily don't pay for that information." However, I'm sure they'll just settle out of court.
KEANE for world cup qualifiers http://www.independent.ie/breaking-news/sport/keane-and-mcgeady-train-with-ireland-3254567.html http://www.independent.ie/breaking-news/sport/trapattoni-upbeat-despite-injury-list-3253865.html
Yeah, so about Robbie playing against Germany... http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/oct/11/republic-of-ireland-robbie-keane-germany Not so much, apparently. They're hoping he'll be good to go against the Faroes. So I don't think we'll have anyone playing in this International break.
Achilles knock. Picked it up in practice - it aggravated something he'd been playing through. If Trappatoni is considering him for the Faroes game, he should be okay for us.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ane-injury-fears-played-Republic-Ireland.html http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...Keane-miss-Germany-clash-injury.html?ITO=1490 The LA Galaxy frontman picked up the knock in a training ground collision with defender Paul McShane, but is expected to be fit for the Group C encounter at the Aviva Stadium in which manager Giovanni Trapattoni has hinted he will play as a lone striker.
Good looking out, [result] but good Lord, it's been nothing but depressing for the Boys in Green[/result]
