Well I can't think of a better league or team for Mike to learn the DM craft than Serie A and Roma.

Is it just me or has anyone else grown to love watching a quality DM work more than any other position on the pitch? That one position can control the fate of the whole team, and when properly executed can almost be artistic in quality.

Yeah a little bit, I always favor midfielders, deep lying play-makers and DM's in particular.

Outside of those a really good defensive performance like Paul McGrath against Italia.

for me it's the deep lying play maker ala Pirlo, and to an extent Scholes.

Given MB's record of growth and development, I wouldn't be the least surprised.

    Good point....

Now that I think about it most Roma players don't use twitter. With how the board are trying to increase it's social profile they should ask all the players to get accounts.

I wouldn't either tbh, but surprise or lack of is one thing, expectation is another. ;)

As for an MB twitter, that'd feel pretty bizarre  . I've never gotten the impression from either Bradley that they'd be the twitter type, would be a hoot if it ever happened though.

There is/was a fake Bob Bradley. Somebody here could do a good job with a fake Michael.

There still is fake Bob Bradley, but he doesn't post AS often obviously. Still funny when he does. There's also @FakeKlinsmann, which isn't nearly as funny as the fake Bob Bradley twitter, but it has its moments

you would have to be able to tweet monosylabically in too many languages.

    Unfortunately @FakeKlinsmann doesn't tweet as much as @FakeBobBradley. :(

Pre-match press conference comment from Zeman on Bradley:

"How do I rate the US midfielder? I think his attitude and focus are exceptional and I hope he's able to give the best of himself here."

    http://www.asroma.it/en/news/news.html?id=6395

I appreciate Roma's prompt updates on the English version of their site. It's rare to have American players on clubs large enough to promptly update the English language part of their websites.

The comment seems like a standard comment to the press, but him being worthy of being talked about is a good sign for tomorrow.

He did not talk about Bradley's technical skill nor his place in the CM pecking order...

The "attitude and focus" always sounds like a backhanded compliment to me.

He should play tomorrow because Tachtsidis isn't 100%.

It's hard to say who starts when everyone is healthy. If Zeman stays to form it will be Tacht because he's a deep lying playmaker which his teams always have.

Coaches love that though. That could be Zeman's highest praise.

I agree Bradley has that in spades. But it would be nice to hear something else.
Sounds too much like 'they bring that American mentality' (ugh)

Bradley isn't ultra skillful and he isn't a great athlete. He has a great motor and is good driving an attack forward but sometimes he doesn't show for the ball well enough in possession. This is the thing he needs to work on to take the next level

Would you rather him say that he looks like a serial killer and does not trust him around knives?;)
