Well if its cable providers its pretty stupid to say about big news on tv since the people who have cable won't be able to hear what he is saying. Its not big news for people with Directv and Dish.
As Hue said in a previous post it is probably the announcement of the USA's Road World Cup Qualifiers in September & October on BEIN.
Phil did say something about having your friends camped on your couch to watch tv, the announcements should get them back on their couches.

Much like GOLTV, beIN SPORT's sound mixing isn't right. Commentary is WAY too loud and you don't get the full crowd effect. Is it just something about Schoen's voice?
my God look at that bein sport billboard they have a ochoa but not most recognized american player Bradley on it. do this channel want more exposure or not get bradley on it too
Unfortunately my impression was they did A LOT of games on Gol TV. They are ok. My guess is they will be doing ALOT of games on beIN sports.
BeIn sucks! Hope verizon picks it up. Missing La Liga and Serie A. Would probably be better to have some Euro feed at some point like GolTv had rather then hearing Phil Schoen who is not the greatest.
They are constructing an in-house cafeteria at beIN studios so that Phil doesn't have to leave the facility to eat.
If you are a Ligue 1 fan, make sure you set your DVR to record whatever is preceding Ligue 1. On Saturday and Sunday, BeIN started the game 25 minutes earlier than their scheduled start time. They basically showed their Sports Extra (or whatever they call this thing) for 5 minutes and then started the Ligue 1 match. This is the type of thing they need to fix. Fox Deportes is really the only network that runs in such an unprofessional fashion.
As part of the agreement between PRISA and MEDIAPRO for LA LIGA TV, PRISA will be the one making the schedules every weekend, so PRISA has decided to schedule all 10 games at different times, so all 10 games can be watch LIVE, no need for tape delays
So will everything be rescheduled this coming weekend so that Atletico can play on Saturday instead of Monday (as Atletico will play Chelsea in Monaco next Friday), and both Barca and RM can play in different time slots?
