fecking shit mother fecker!!!!!! right when i switch to the boring arsenal game, lukaku comes on, plays good, and scores.... (shaking fist in air)
Today i wake up, make myself an expresso (lol i know what its called ) sit down, turn on the tele, and watch the league opener with liverpool loseing and arsenal drawing. thank god club footie is back
really enjoyed listening to Nigel Winterburn wax poetic about selling RVP and who Arsenal would be better for doing so...
A brilliant tweet from Luke: Rodgers / Swansea goal difference... -8 On a serious note, even though against 10 tired men(?), Lukaku scored 1 & created 2-3 very good chances for others. Maybe he will come very good, bit moody like Drog himself who on his day destroys defense at will & sometimes plays like really frustrating. Hope he carries on this momentum, even if by initial sub appearances.
a bit drastic no? plenty of players have bad spells, including our entire first team, still one the CL and i still think VDV is class
I'm not the only one of that opinion, on a Dutch footie show they went even further and questioned if he even still has a place in the modern game. Obviously I wouldn't go quite that far, but he already covers very little ground off the ball and he turns 30 in half a year. If Spurs want to make some money on him, this Summer might be their final chance to do so.
Here is a brilliant stat from Infostrada: @InfostradaLive: Liverpool lose 3-0 & suffer their heaviest opening day defeat in the top flight since 1937 – 6-1 at Chelsea No history?
lol some of the toon players attempting a ridiculous, 2 players hug and 1 runs under set peice maneuver
you brits have awesome commercials just saw the one with kammy shaving, then some hot girl gets hit in the head with a football and tiziano crudeli shows up yanking off kammys towel and being tiziano crudeli i have no idea what its about but its fecking hilarious
Yep. All the technical ability in the world, but really quite peripheral in the build-up and doesn't even go through the motions defensively on occasion. If AVB has any intention of implementing his pressing game, Van der Vaart would be a complete liability. Still a good player, but Spurs' ambitions have outgrown him, IMO. He could still be 'the man' at a club like Fulham, though.
