Sahin was a loan and will eventually be a sale to a smaller team that wont compete with Madrid. Modric was never going to be sold to a competitor, especially United. At least think a little before you post this rubbish.

Plus, this is forgetting the obvious. Fergie is a 4-4-2 guy. 4-4-2!

 

Honestly, Can't believe this actually happened, the perennial need for a CM every off-season and never actually getting done is approaching mythological territory.

RVP is 29 though...2/3 top years left...so I wonder how much the purchase was for.

Atleast paying for a young creative player adds up more than paying for RVP

 

We have too many strikers. Now Rooney and RVP will expect to play 90% of games or they'll throw a hissy....meaning less time to develop Welbeck (and to a lesser extent Chich). Meanwhile we have a drop of quality and depth in CM......don't get it.

Charley, it is pretty clear that to some extent, it is a signing to shut up the whining section of our support.

I like Martinez but there are valid questions to be asked about his mobility.
