We are officially cancelling our Vancouver trip. Too many medical bills = no summer trip of any sort for the Ismitjes this year. Local camping we think!

Sorry to hear that is what the reason is. Hope things improve quickly and that y'all are able to enjoy the local camping. We are up in the air about our hoped for RSL road trips due to shortfalls in expected income.

Is anyone heading to San Jose next weekend? My family and I are planning our trip right now and would like to make sure we will sit with any RSL fans that are going,,,

Funeral potatoes with bacon instead of corn flakes on top. I could probably live off of those.

One of my first questions after moving to Utah was "what in the world are funeral potatoes?" My second question was "why do all the girls wear pants under their dresses?" My third question, or statement, rather, was "I see white people!"

Oooh...haven't tried them like that! Heart attack in a pan is what those should be called.

heart attack in a pan is what my uncle, a chef at some country club in utah county, makes that is mac and cheese with blue cheese and bacon.

Family parties are not complete without it. Neither is the 5 pounds you put on and your food hangover the next day

How appropriate. San Jose buried us 5 goals under. What a waste of 2 hours.

I wish I'd thought of it. I'm dying to get out of Utah and pretty much ANYWHERE sounds appealing right now. Vancouver sounds especially appealing.

I'm actually thinking more along the lines of Greece, Paris, or Cairo. But yeah, Evanston is okay.

Paris? A sweaty, stinky, unshaven French armpit.
