Of course we do. It's just that our board sucks so much at transfers, we have no choice other than to rely on Neymar. We've knew since 2010 that we would be without Neymar and Ganso during Olympics, yet we still didn't prepare well enough to maintain a respectable performance without them.

I suppose the injuries were also a heavy blow I guess, we must be jinxed. o_O

Correct. Otherwise he would be back against Figueirense.

Celso Roth has a knack for reviving times. It must have hurt seeing Borges score.

    Don't forget Durval!

Really liked the balance of the midfield tonight. It greatly improved our saida de bola. Arouca with the running, Adriano with the (over-aggressive and often stupid) tackling, and Leandrinho with the passing. Perfect. Felipe Anderson finally showed the ability to stop running to unbalance a defender. It did wonders.

The defense seems to be getting worse though. Tweedle-dee and Tweedle-dum (a.k.a Rodrigo and Durval) nearly gave me a couple of heart attacks. Peres didn't cover himself in glory either.

Kinda. I was more angry to see no-one marking him to be honest. Didn't even really register that he celebrated until the halftime replay of the goal.

It's games like these that make me such a believer of Felipe Anderson.

He's not consistent, and still need to mature as a player and physically aswell - but this kid just shows some fantastic flashes of ability.

I just hope for his sake he doesn't accept the big money from Russia, cause like Alan Patrick(anyone even heard about him since?) - it will come very shortly in my opinion, cause Felipe imo is a better player and prospect then AP.

He just needs to find a way to consistently show what he's capable of, and not bring it in small dozes and flashes. But to his credit he is still very young, and you can clearly see the improvement in him with every year since he's in the first team.

Right now he's thrown into the deep waters to be "the man" - and some games like this one and the one a few weeks ago against Gremio.. but when Neymar will come and Felipe will hopefully continue to get full credit in the lineup, he can really cement his place and improve more in my opinion.

Crazy that 2 of last night's goal scorers were born in 1993 and 1995.

Yeah well I'm getting quite excited about Victor Andrade. He commits a lot of mistakes for sure, but damn he is SIXTEEN. Such a young player, but he is performing pretty well playing for a professional team of our caliber in such a bad spell of form, with such pressure involved... Lots of talent there... Then you take in consideration that we also have Vitor Hugo, Lucas Otavio, Gustavo, Jubal, Leandrinho (who played pretty well yesterday), Gabigol in our youth ranks... In two~three years we will have one hell of a exciting team :D

I was going to ask what kind of player people think Victor Andrade can develop into. It's insane that a 16 year old is playing meaningful minutes in a league of this caliber.

it's a byproduct of not having the adequate depth.

TBH, other then speed I haven't seen much to be really impressed by Andrade, not in the couple of Copinha games I saw aswell.

Again, 16 like Baka said is a ridiculously young age and theres plenty of time to develop - but so far I don't see much from the hype he had on him prior.

Otavio is a kid who should come up the rank - I guess his build is the only thing keeping him away from a squad call-up right now, probably rightfully so tbh.

We just signed André (yup the one from our youth teams, who played for us in 2010), out of nowhere  I'm not very sure on the conditions, but it seems we've payed 2M euros for 25% of his rights, yet it's still a loan until the end of 2013! More information as soon as I get them!

    NO MORE BILL!

EDIT: Oh and it seems like we sold Ganso... WAIT WHAT o_O ?!? Calm down let's see how much of that is true, he ahs been sold multiple times already and none of those news were true... The heck is happening today...

Should've never let him go in the first place.. waste of cash imo, he hasn't been the same since.

I kinda agree, but he really wanted to leave... dumb decision. We didn't lose money though, since we sold 100% of him for 8M euros, now we bought 25% for 2M, same price.

And Patito is set to debut in the next game. Oh God may this be a sudden spell of good luck for us, we certainly need it!

About the Ganso rumour, Radio Cultura affirms that Ganso will go to Atletico MG, maybe involved somewhat with this André transfer. I'm not buying it.

I never wanted Andre at Fla, but I think he's a good fit for Santos. Seems to make a good pairing with Neymar.

Ganso to Galo? I haven't read anything on that yet, but where the hell is Galo getting this money from? They are going to play Ganso, Bernard and R49 on the field at the same time? Imagine the laziness on the field (Ganso and R49). What about Sonda's portion of the rights?

I read Aletico-MG wants 14 millions Euros for the rest of Andre's registration. :ROFLMAO: Kalil must be mad. Great signing, even though the part we did buy was too expensive.

Is there a number floating around for Ganso's transfer fee? A realistic one, not the quoted by Santos' pres.
