Anji advance with a 4-0 win over Honved. Bate advanced too.

Dundee United x Dynamo will be interesting lol.

Anzhi play Vitesse, heard they have a good attack.

Trying to remember if Dundee is the team that narrowly lost to Dynamo Kyiv in 2008 or so.....they hit the post on a pinball ricochete in the 90th min in Kyiv which would have seen them through on aggregate. Completely f'd up, you wouldn't believe your eyes. Funny thing is, if I'm not mistaken, Dynamo went on to beat Spartak 8-2 on aggregate right after that lol

I think Dynamo recently lost to Celtic in CL quailes if I'm not mistaken. But given the state of Scottish footy right now I'd be disappointed if they don't make it through.

I really wanna see more of Traore at Anzhi btw, had no idea he is only 22.

Nevermind, cause I think the team Kyiv almost lost to was from Ireland LOL!!

Is the Traore dude the guy from one of the Scandanavian or Romanian teams from UCL the past few years?

Yeah he's from Cluj from Transylvania, at least that's where I first saw him haha. He is a super tall dude and scored 18 goals last season for Kuban, and he and Eto'o should be a fun pair to watch at Anzhi.

I have a lot of problems watching the RPL because of the time difference, but I'm hoping that Anzhi make the Europa League so at least I can see him more there.

Traore's a monster. He has almost everything in his arsenal, even helps out well on the defensive end.

What type of formation does Anzhi usually play with...do they usually put Traore and Eto'o up front in a 4-4-2, or is Eto'o usually on the left?

Against Kuban Eto'o played behind Traore as I expected. At times he dropped really deep.

Great result for Arsenal 3-0 win in Kyiv, tie should be over. Didn't realize Shaxov and Polyansky went on loan there. They have a decent little roster there, but losing Odibe at the back to Dnipro could be costly against better opposition. Time will tell.

Metadon with a late equalizer to draw 1-1 away so they are looking pretty good too.

Dundee Utd. 2 - 2 Dinamo. Poor result considering the competition but Dinamo is likely through. Kokorin equalized in added time.

Polyansky? You mean Polyovyi? lol And he's not on loan there, they bought him from Metalurh Zaporizhya a while ago. He is actually one of the most underrated full backs in Ukraine. Blokhin will prob never call him up though lol

Looks like Arsenal might have their 3-0 win taken away and made into a 3-0 loss. Matuku was suspended for 2 matches during his time at Gent for a red card v. Porto. He only sat out 1 match and wasn't supposed to play yesterday. Arsenal is claiming they didn't know about this and are fighting the case. If they weren't FSU nit wits maybe I'd believe them lol morons

Spartak's possible opponents in the final qualifying round are Fenerbahce, Udinese, Lille, Borussia M., and Malaga. I give them 50/50 in all the ties give or take, but I feel like they won't qualify.

Yeah their defense always makes me nervous in Europe.

Btw, saw that Kalou signed with Lille. Interesting that he never made it big at Chelsea.

Was always a decent sub, but too inconsistent. I wish him all the best.
