Patito seems to be a done deal.

Yea he tweeted a pic of him signing but it still sucks to lose Martinez to Corinthians.

Whats the info of the deal Baka? I understand we pay nothing and it will be financed by a 3rd party - but how much will we earn from his future sale? and do we fully control where and when to sell him?

I'm quite confused as well, some shady stuff might be involved. The only sure thing is that we have 50% of his rights, and Independiente has the other 50%, but we have the option of buying this part owned by Independiente...

Rumours say that he was brought to us by one of Kia's Joorabchian's sponsors, and we well know that he is involved with money laundering so our board has their lips sealed.. In a potential transfer, we would earn 15% of the value, but we must sell him when the time comes, kinda like what happened with Jonathan... But again, those are only rumours. The player itself said that he dreams of playing for Santos then move to Europe though, so I believe it's safe to say that he won't be staying for long with us...

Buying the other 50% will increase our future profit? if not, I don't see why should we do that.

We would get 65% of the transfer fee, I suppose.

Oh, so the 50% rights are belonging to that group, and we just have 15% of it?

If so then it's fine. I mean the kid is a crack - it's just a question if when/if he'll blow up.

It's been expected of him to become a star for a few years now tbh, so it is a little worrying and maybe it's a problem with his attitude or mentally - but who knows.

Also he plays alot on the left wing like Neymar cutting in, let's see how we'll play him.

So disappointing this is what the century season is shaping up to be - us fighting for a top 5 finish without any major reinforcements, and probably without a real shot at the championship/having lost the Libertadores earlier. Just disappointing.

Looks like Patito is going to play in Thursday's game. Muricy needs to put one more creative body in the midfield.

Tied for last in the league in goals scored, so he'll be a welcome addition.

My expectations weren't high to begin with since we knew Neymar and Ganso would miss a big chunk of the season due to the Olympics. Theres been way to many unwatchable games this year which makes me even question if we can contend for a libertadores spot.

More bad news...Rafael got hurt in practice and might get cut from the Olympic squad.

Rumours say that Arouca was sold! Imagine that, the international transfer window is closed (for us, players from brazillian clubs can still go to europe until August 31th), there are almost none CMFs options in the national market (I doubt we would find anyone that didn't play 7 games yet, so they wouldn't be able to play for us in Brasileirão)... Now that would be fun!

Pray to God that this is not true!

Imagine if this team still had Wesley, Alex Sandro, Danilo, and Andre...

    Quality depth.

Now in the relegation zone. What a disgrace.

The team can't function when the only place the attack exists is on the team sheet.

Yeah. With luck, he will play vs Corinthians... Sad to see the team react like this to his absence, a santista friend told me this and I have to agree now: our team is made of a bunch of side characters. No one has the guts to step up when the protagonist is away...

The full team of injured players don't help our situation either. Our health staff is composed of a bunch of butchers.

We don't have the right for such luxury right now I suppose... Maybe when we get to a more comfortable spot in Brasileirão we could afford to rest him for a week. We will have to depend on his rubber bones/muscles to avoid injuries, yet again.

So Santos aren't worried that he might suffer from muscle fatigue lol
