    46' 1-0, 1-0 Brasil subs in:
    - (1 of 3) #3 Daiane (DF) for #6 Maurine (DF)
    - (2 of 3) #4 Aline (DF) for #14 Bruna (MF, yellow).

46' 1-0, 1-0 Cameroon subs in (1 of 3) #9 Madaleine Ngono Mani for #3 Ajara Nchout (FW). The ref restarts too eagerly while Nchout is still trotting, and Cameroon resume with 12 :p Pedersen of NOR might have just knocked herself of reffing the final for that ...

Dang, the BBC is doing a tremendous job with this coverage. The scenes around the stadium are breathtaking. I'm supporting Brasil as always but this a great moment for Team GB's women.

Having sat in the crowd for two US matches last week, I can tell you that those particular crowds may have been louder but were certainly no more creative: "U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A!".

LOL, I'd say it's about 10 times the biggest crowd for women's soccer in England, women's football (soccer) is non existent in this country. Totally dominated by the men's game

never said they were. USA fans (especially at Olympics) tend to be very boring and uncreative in their cheers.

49' 1-0, 2-0 New Zealand chip fast from center circle back down box left for #13 Rosie White breaking the high line. White is alone down the line, #1 Ngo Ndom comes way out sideways. Wite touches around Ngo Ndom, stranding her wide of box (her) right  White blasts a cross to 6-top left, poorly right into #15 Ysis Sonkeng ready to shield ball away. Sonkeng, facing her left corner, swings left instep and whiffs, ball pings off her planted right instep, reflects goalward!! Cameroon's befuddled 2 others were not expecting that angle, cannot save it trickling in over the line. Own goal!!

53' 1-0, 52' 2-0 New Zealand shoot long from ~24m arc left to left post, Ngo Ndom stoops and picks it up.

I wonder what kind of creativity you were expecting then? Is there any national team crowd that says more than the equivalent of "Go, Colombia!" In club football, where the regular crowd go out week after week, I can see that it'd be easier to develop a crowd culture.

54' 1-0, 2-0 GBR siege Brasil's box top right. Flick wide right to #12 Little, she jukes a few times and crosses at the 6 -- Brasil collect it and clear.

55' 1-0, 2-0 GBR feed #15 Aluko free at 14m mid-right, she slices it into the side netting.

55' 1-0, 2-0 #15 Aluko splits Brasil down the middle, #12 Rosana clatters into her from behind. Penal!!

56' 1-0, 2-0 PK, #10 Smith sends it low right but not hugging the post. #1 Andreia dives correctly, palms it wide.

I get that. I wasn't trying to be critical nor offend. US sports fans are generally boring even at NFL, NBA, college sporting events. UK fans have a higher rep than that. ::shrug:: :speechless:
