We probably will see Cahill as AM since Dax McCarty is suspended for accumulated cards and the trade of Medhi Ballouchi to San Jose. I think this game will be a crtical test for our Midfield and defense. Same for NY.
NYRB hosts Tottenham in a friendly at RBA on Tuesday night, at 6 pm CT on ESPN2. Cahill is apparently starting tomorrow night, according to Kyle McCarthy's tweet.
If Cahill starts tomorrow for the friendly I would be surprised. Then again, I honestly wouldn't be too worried. Cahill doesn't have his legs any more like he use to, he's still dangerous but not massively. It won't be easy but we can handle NY. Apply some of the strategies from the Montreal-NY match and then go from there. Plus its a different style of play in the MLS compared to the EPL.
He should be ready and expect him to start. Just heard him say that if he were to go back to Australia's A League it would have been a step back in quality.
Yeah quite a few Aussies were mad that he decided to go to the MLS instead of the A-League...but honestly, after watching the grand finale for the A-League...I don't blame him coming here hehe.
On top of that he said he never thought about the A League. He'd rather develop the grassroots over there than play for any of them.

1. Dax McCarty out due to yellow card accumulation. 2. Thanks for scheduling Tottenham idiots. I am sure late in the humidity on Friday evening it won't matter one bit that you scheduled a money grab against what may be your best competition for the top spot in the Eastern Conference and/or home field advantage.
Someone needs to punish Ace. There is no freakin' poll on this thread!!! What the hell?!?!?!! If things don't go favorably, I say we tar and feather the man! As for the game....assume that Taylor is back and Bruin recovering... --Hall Crevalle--.Com--Andre--Taylor OBG--Moffat--Davis Kandji--Ching--Carr
I imagine he is seeing the doctor today and we'll have a statement tomorrow. In the meantime, I'm listing him as out. Looked like he tweaked his knee good, so even if he is given the all-clear, you'd imagine Dom would sit him out a week as a precaution.
Can't wait for Friday night. The only thing i'm worried about is who will be singing the National anthem because we don't want a Frisco disaster.
beat the filthy, puppy kicking, sour milk drinking, carpet bagging, starters of the war of Northern aggression yanks!! leave your hopes in that garbage ridden, rat trap of a city and prepare for beating that would make a government mule blush! oh, and you have a stupid accent!
