It's not like no team could have afforded Ramirez in Italy.

He's not worth the asking price

We create the stars, all this talk about Serie A being weak is just in reference to not having a sheik with unlimited funds to buy trading cards. Serie A will never die!

I just saw PSG tonight. With all that money, nothing spectacular as they drew against DC United 1:1. All that money and they can only get a draw?

Ibrahimovic had his magical moment although it was a bit too easy. He stands around a lot and does little running off the ball. I think Milan will be a more dynamic side without him. Verratti played very deep, did a decent job of distributing the ball but little to insert himself into the match. More of an outlet for his teammates. He did not show much.Pastore came on in the second half. I never understood the hype about him. Nothing special at all. Can't say the same about Lavezzi. He will be a difference maker for PSG. Napoli will miss him.

Just because oil money is being used to spend outrageous sums on ordinary players, it is not a sign that Serie A is in decline. If anything, good thing that Italian sides are not trying to match these amounts. PSG is not going to make any noise outside of their transfer fees.

PSG is being built for the CL. They will benefit from a shit league and freshness of a huge roster.

Results, I agree. How players take the game and play it, one can take something.
