Breno's prison sentence was a shock, says Hoeness http://www.goal.com/en/news/15/germ...enos-prison-sentence-was-a-shock-says-hoeness
He has just drawn the connections for the players that can be played interchangeably. The players who can be interchanged more easily without loss of significant advantage or quality are shown with bolder arrows between them and weaker ones for less interchangeability. Also players who are considered more suitable as starters for their position are shown in much bigger blocks. Whatever this is not something like....new information or something. And he forgot to draw arrows from Neuer to all the other players.
What I see as the problem with the judge's rule is that Breno as an active player and not a prisoner could repay the damage caused 2 times, 3 times, 4 times or more as soon as he gets his career back on track which a simple change of club might achieve.
Peace between Arjen and Frenck!!!!!! Arjen forgives Frenck after all the chaos of april........ Robbery back again!
On a side note bayern munich have been in the champions league semifinals 14 times and the finals 9 times, winning only 4. There is a 65% chance that when Bayern make a semifinal they'll go onto the finals. However when bayern do make a final they have a 44% chance of winning it.. This is all based on the entire history of bayern football in Europe. If we do the since 2000. We made it to the semifinals 4 times making it to the finals 3 times That's a 75% record of making it to a final once we reach the semis. Out of the 3 finals we make it to, we have won it once. So we have a 33% chance of winning a title in recent times, once we make a final... Interesting?
Bayern II drew 1-1 today with SV Heimstetten. That makes it 3 draws in 3 matches... Schweinsteiger 2 has been getting subbed out earlier and earlier each match. He only made it to halftime today. Bastian Fischer, 19 year old attacking midfielder we signed from Unterhaching, scored his 2nd goal in 3 matches. Zingerle - Horn, Buck, Wein, Rothenbücher - Lala, Hürzeler (56. Duhnke), Schöpf, Fischer - Schweinsteiger (46. Jennings), Weihrauch http://www.fcbayern.telekom.de/de/aktuell/spielbericht/2012/36112.php
Uli: "Mario Gomez is good, but not very good. He can get better. We shouldn't always pamper the players. Players won't improve by patting them on the back. Constructive criticism is part of life. Anyone who can't deal with that has a problem. I don't think Scholl was harsh in his criticism of Gomez although one might disagree with his choice of words." http://www.spox.com/de/sport/fussba...gomez-mandzukic-shaqiri-sammer-nerlinger.html http://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/uli-hoeness/spricht-in-bild-25371574.bild.html Did he really have to open this can of worms again?
Dear Uli, Shut the f*ck up. 80 goals in 97 games for Bayern over the past 2 years is very good. Sincerely, All Bayern Fans
Frustration perhaps, but there isn't an excuse to criticize him through the press. It isn't like Gomez scored 13 goals to put Bayern in the final in the first place or anything...
I don't think he should have singled him out because there are many players who deserve to be constructively criticized but Gomez has in a way become the "emblem" of Bayern's shortcomings and he does perhaps reflect Uli's overall points more than anyone else on the team. It might also be case of them having addressed it privately with little results hence the escalating frustration. There might be more to this because Uli rarely comes out "against" a player like this.
I agree with Uli's point that players shouldn't be pampered. It does seem though as if Gomez seems to be the scapegoat for any shortcomings which is weird considering he's been overall Bayern's best player of the past 2 years. Hopefully this makes Gomez perform better though I do not think he would have gotten this type of treatment had he been in any other club in Europe not named Bayern, Barca or Madrid and put the numbers he's put.
It hit him hard indeed. For him to say this, it must have hurt a lot. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/s...ident-uli-hoeness-wants-more-humility?cc=5901
Dale Jennings interview after the last Bayern II match. Seems like he has a good attitude, says he is approaching full fitness again.
Uli's halfass attempt to light a fire under Mario's ass is completely transparent. Scholli's was better Still think people don't give the guy enough credit, simply because he's not a flair player. If he works on confidence/consistency, he'll be a top 5 striker for years to come.
It's not like any of this is false but why make these claims public and how do they help the club right now
As good as Gomez's numbers are,I would never bet my house on him scoring when it Matters the most!!!...Dont get me Wrong,I love Gomez as a Player and I find a lot of the Criticism hurled at him as harsh....But as of Now,he hasnt stepped up in the Big games and simply lacks a ruthlessness in front of goal on the Big Stage!!!...The Dude Froze in the CL final....As much as you Blame Robben for the Penalty miss,Gomez had three gilt edged chances to score and open the floodgates but his composure let him down... Drogba on the other hand. One Chance. One Goal. If only Gomez brings that Big game Mentality of a Drogba/Inzaghi to the table,He'll be Unstoppable.
Jennings is one big boy! Isn't he a speed demon? What else does his game have to offer? Interested to find out.
I don't think turning CL semifinal and final success rates into a victory probability (i.e., "33% chance of winning") works. But I get your point: our success rate is quite a bit lower than other teams (Madrid: 75%, Milan: 64%, Liverpool: 71%, Barca: 57%, Ajax: 67%, Internazionale/Man U: 60%).
