WOW, what a win for Japan. Hope they carry this form throughout the tournament and Otsu is on! Spain should've never worn those horrid uniforms they never stood a chance haha.

yeah still worried. Morocco and Honduras are good teams

Japan proved to be a reallll fast side.. I mean FAST. Their pace will most likely give our slow CentreBacks a lot of problems. I'm worried lol.

Hopefully it was only a motivational thing. Would not mind being underrated by Japan, if it means us not being pressured on the ball 100% of the time.

Things look really good, now all they need is very good finishing, and they'll be a real threat. This tactics used against Spain is really effective.
Everyone needs to re-take another course on scoring, though...

when things go down and there is a serious tournament going on, you can expect pretty much from every Japan National team to press you like hell.

They will need to readjust and change their tactic for Honduras, Morocco cause they play differently and also Japan can play differently against those teams

I really hope they will not suffer the same "underdog" syndrome that Samurai Blue suffered in Qatar 2011, playing the worst matches against weak teams (and with a lot of red card too).

guys, i need an info: i want to buy Kiyotake's Japan jersey, but i have doubts about the number. In London he's using 17, but in the major team he has used 8; what number should i have to pick?

It depends on what you'd like to keep in memory (17) or look forward to the future (8).

Can't predict the future but as long as he'll keep playing on NT level, Adidas will be providing kits for NT and he'll under personal contract with them he'll be the No. 8 of Japanese NT.

Only the time will say. It depends on many factors:

    - Kiyotake will play good in his new club and than will be called steadily by Zac?
    - Another "in trail" midfielder (Ryo or Usami etc) will play good too and will take that number for him?
    - Some new young player (Otsu or Saito etc)can make a good impression in this Oly and than will be promoted to the senior team by Zac taking that number?

well, he's 2nd top scorer of the league right now and it's 3 years that keeps scoring a decent amount of goals... that said I would've still called Ibusuki of course
