Jonker wrote a mail to the club last Friday which found its way to Bild. He analyzed what's wrong with the club's youth department. It lacks - a philosophy: what's the goal? to win youth Championships or to improve the players? - organization: there are too many people involved and many only care about themselves. The stadium and training facilities are not up to high standards (turf, conference room, gym). There are question marks over the technical staff, the medical department, scouting, groundkeeping, "just about overy everything" He sees Sammer as the "new rider" that will make "the golden horse of German football faster and better." http://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/b...tent-rechnet-mit-bayern-ab-25331518.bild.html
Isn't that what LvG talked about as well before his second season? Glad Jonker still cares and I hope they take all this very seriously.
What I find sad is that it always ends up in Bild ... & WTF Also, consider the source ... he was basically demoted and chose not to return after not lighting the world or should I say Regionalliga on fire
Seems to me that the most important part of the question about winning vs player development has to do with what they see as the team's ultimate purpose. If they see it as a stepping stone to the first team then the difference in quality between the leagues is going to be a big obstacle to overcome and the team needs to win enough to reduce that gap in quality. I don't see that there is any 'philosophical' problem that pits development against winning. If the players are improving but are not playing well enough for promotion then hopefully scouting/recruiting and training are getting some scrutiny right now.
Bayern need to find out who this a-hole human being of a mole is. I don't care if it's a player or an agent, they need to be found and fired automatically. Even if it is Schweini or Lahm, to do this constantly for years both with the national team and Bayern is beyond pathetic. The most likely scenario is a player's agent, as those people in general have no sense of loyalty. But we do know that it is a German/Bayern player/agent/spouse so that closes the area down to Schweinsteiger, Boateng, Badstuber, Kroos, Muller, Gomez, Lahm, Neuer. Neuer and Boateng joined Bayern last season when the mole was still at power, so we can take those two out of the equation, it leaves us with 6 players or their agents/family that is the mole. If I was Bayern FO, it's surprising they haven't started a real investigation regarding this issue.
The mole has been active for more than 3 yrs I guess so that might eliminate Badstber, Muller, Kroos and Gomez. Hmmm The plot thickens ...
Yes, because the players and their agents would definitely be receiving that e-mail from Jonker. They probably haven't started an investigation because they probably all sell sh*t to Bild.
Heynckes: Boateng cannot afford to make mistakes at a team like Bayern http://www.goal.com/en-india/news/3...o-make-mistakes-at-a-team?source=breakingnews

How can" the only trophy they will win in a long time" be stated in a optimistic manner? That doesn't even make sense.
