Well I'm not excited as some about this game because of the league which is my main concern but because let's face it spoors are another level. But even in exhibition games it pains me to see our club get dealt with. Oh well enjoy a goodtime to those who attend and will watch it.

yah i know it sucks that MLS doesnt compare to the big clubs in Europe yet, well mainly because of our Spending restrictions . but its still nice to see how we our $40-60,000,000 team compares against a $100-300,000,000 team....................

I hear you bro and hopefully with the UEFA financial fair play rules coming into effect and maybe wage caps to follow (ie salary cap) then we'll see who in europe is a real club and who just buys titles. I kinda wish they did it like the NBA where your original team offers you the most money making it harder to leave for less elsewhere.

This will be streaming on ESPN3.com, so if you're up to it after work or whenever, you can still watch the replay they offer on the website.

We still do relatively well against the European teams, considering. At least we can hold our own, even if the majority of these teams consist of benchwarmers and operating on autopilot. We're still a baby league after all. It'll take time but MLS is making great strides and growing every year.

We have to win. if only to pimp slap that Bendict Friedel and his atrocious accent.
Galaxy shouldn't go out like other MLS teams... losing or barely drawing to euro teams who
are only out here to bang Lil Wayne's bodyguards cast-offs and to shop at outlet stores
so they can escape the high prices of goods in the land monitary snobbery.

I hope no one gets hurt and no starters go more than 45 minutes.

That's all I want to see...

Well...there won't be Becks and LD for this game, that's for sure. I hope it will still get a big turn out nevertheless.

No injuries, starters go 45, and we keep it respectable

I don't want to get beat 8-0 - not because of Eurosnobbery (could care less), but that type of scoreline tends to be draining on the boys. 2-0, 3-1, whatever, no injuries, enjoy the show, see ya later.

Will watch tomorrow when I get home!

While not Donovan?. The accumulation of yellows only count in MLS league games.

He's decided to participate in the MLS All Star Game instead. Since that game happens tomorrow and is located in Chester, Pennsylvania, he had to choose one over the other.

Personally, excepting anyone nursing an injury and Perk replacing Saunders, I'd love to see whatever line-up we intend to play vs. Dallas (when we also won't have Donovan and Beckham) get the start tonight and go an easy 45 minutes. Then sub in all the bench/reserve guys and let them have some fun trying to impress the coaches....

I wonder how much of a choice they were given.... or how much the league pressured the Galaxy into helping sway them...

It's pretty crazy that not only does the league have friendlies in the middle of the week with league games on either end, but their own All Star game is positioned exactly the same.

I guess I shouldn't go off on the league schedule issues again, as Garber has made it totally clear that he does not think there is any possible way to change it around significantly, but I gotta be honest: both this friendly and the All Star game would excite me at other times, but the only game I am really thinking about is Dallas and working our way up the standings. I'll check the reports on both the AS game and this friendly to see if anyone got hurt or if anyone crucial played big minutes, but that'll be the only reason.

Yah, same here. I don't want to see any Alecko type injury out there for such a meaningless game. However, I will be out there rooting for the lads. Can't wait to see what Villareal, McBean, etc...can do

This is a weekday game so does that mean all of those stupid parking and attendance restrictions are in place?
