    So...

2 months out for Alaba. Rafinha just slightly less.

Now how are we looking in the transfer market having just lost a starting LB, and backup RB????

Hope Contento can step to the plate. Thankfully Boateng is adequate at playing RB. Shift Lahm back to LB, move Dante in middle with Badstuber. That takes can starting XI but only leaves Contento as legitimate cover at LB.

Seems to be a reoccuring pattern at Bayern with preseason injuries. WTF. Long gone seem to be the days of the "Ballet in White" when the best starting XI are healthy and stay healthy enough to pound the competition.

It happens. I'm sure he'll recover quicker than anticipated. What we have to worry about is Schweinsteiger and how his fitness comes along.

Better now than in late April or May ... So, we do have back-ups right??? J/K

Plus the BL is starting really late this year, so they will be back for week 3 or 4. More chances for the new kid from Köln ... He could get a little bit of a sniff sitting on the bench early on.

Lahm can go to the left if Contento can't cut it, Boateng on the right (yeah, ... , NOT), and Badstuber with Dante in the middle.

In the end not too bad. I am okay as long as Piggy & Robbery get through this okay ;)

Edit: Just read your post eissman ... You read my mind ;) +1

We can cover for injuries anywhere except CM, so this is not a killer blow.

The main thing we need to focus on is moving the ball faster and being more decisive in attack, regardless who is on the pitch.

    IMO

Why are people insistent on moving alaba to the CM...

Alaba needs to be our LB for the next 12 years as far as I am concerned...

Do people realize how hard it is to get good FB?
    Compared to midfield...

Shaq is fine upfront leave alaba in the back ;)

Yeah, injuries suck... but they happen to all teams. Fortunately Alaba won't be missing a lot of time (season-wise), so I'm not too worried about this. Just don't want to rush him back from the injury like I've seen all too often in sports.

Its not a good sign when both your sporting director and manager both look like they are in better shape than your best player...

Big season for Schweinsteiger. More than anyone, he needs to really step up this year.

Didn't Breno get dogged out for doing the same thing a few years ago?!

Although it's nice to see that they are human, and that I'm not the only one to pack on pounds in such a short time...That's a lot of cardio.
