I really hope he turns his career around this season... Really put his career and goal into perspective and give 110% for the team to achieve them...

2 CL finals lost, 1 WC final lost, embarrassing euro...
He knows he doesn't have a lot of playing years left...

Will we see a new robben??

Not to put too much stock in his compilations, but this Markoutz kids playing style reminds me of a faster version of Ozil. Not saying he's gonna reach Ozil's level(would be amazing), but if I were to compare his technique and especially his dribbling(albeit against weak opposition) to an already established player, it would have to be to Ozil. It's refreshing because you can just see the kids natural talent he possesses on the ball.

So Bayern II play Augsburg II on Saturday. I'm assuming Can, Weiser, and Vrzogic will stay in Trentino?

    Hendrik?

Signing Shaq was the best thing that could happen for Robben at Bayern. The competition (which Heynckes needs to make plausible) for his position will mean he either steps it up or gets replaced by a hopefully fantastic Shaqiri (don't expect this to happen but with injuries who knows)

Raeder, Rankovic, Wein and Vrzogic (injured) left the training camp, the others will stay.

It looks like Schweinsteiger and Lahm will stay in Munich and therefore not participate in our trip to China. Seems like Lahm's first child will be born sometime soon.

Hope it's just a precautionary measure taking Alaba off. Also, Contento looking god awful. Dante hasn't impressed me much either.

Well, now we have our designated free kick taker for the upcoming season. Lets just hope Franck's and Arjen's egos allow Shaqiri to take them all!

what a goal,he should take the corners too. Robben's corners usually suck.

    So does Kroos's

Underwhelming for a test vs a 'real' team.

Well that was quite good for a pre-season friendly. Napoli looked like they really wanted to beat us.

No idea why Jupp put Can at RB instead of Weiser and Hojbjerg at LW instead of Markoutz.

Maybe he was just trying things in a game that doesn't mean anything...

Missed the match, thanks for the highlights  That Cannovaro goal was unstoppable! Goal of the pre-season..
Each time I see Alaba play, he impresses me even more. He's great as our LB, but a few years down the line, I'd love to see him in the middle dictating play. That pace, acceleration, technique and most importantly how he has a powerful shot with both feet; given time, he'll be a world class CM.

Fokkin beauty of a free kick from Shaqiri.

Off of KVB^^, Alaba has been our most consistent performer this preseason. It's amazing how one of the youngest first teamers frequently looks like a leader on the field. Post-Lahm (maybe even before then) this kid has the captain's armband on lock.

    <3 Alaba.

Frankly it is sad that Lahm is the captain of Bayern. Shows image of a player rather than what you deserve have a bigger impact. I know this would dissapoint him, but he has no business wearing the armband. At the end of the day, it's just an armband but playing great when you have 0 leadership qualities doesn't make you a captain. Either Schweinsteiger or Neuer should wear it, one captain and the other vice-captain. Make Lahm 3rd string after them.

I'd say Alaba and Badstuber are the young ones that show leadership qualities, though Badstuber is such a limited player so I don't know if he can be captain. Muller at times shows this as well, but I'm still unsure about him. Kroos has dissapointed me in this regard considerably...
