Let me clear up the Chuma deal, first I have to say name Fontana is involved so that should raise some brows. Apparently the ticket for him to go to Israel came but it was only a ticket to Lima, Peru. Some of you who have been on this forum for a while remember Didi Torrico's scandal with his trip to Russia that ended in Lima remember the one were his mom had to send him money to bring him home. So pretty much this was lining up to be the same kind of deal. There was never a direct contact from the club in Israel and the The Strongest, Fontana was the middle man our President (Mr. Kurt who is a great guy) told Fontana that Chuma would go but that he, our President would go with him. So the final offer came from FONTANA which was for $500.000 and after the cookie was divided Chuma would end up making just as much in La-Paz as in Israel, So Chuma told the president that he has a young family and that this time he didn't see the point in going so far away from his family; however that it was up to the institution to decide and that he would be good with the decision, that's when the "TICKET" showed up and the deal broke apart. Now Fontana is crying to anyone who will hear him and claiming that there was a contract signed, and that money had already been exchanged to Chuma; but those of us who now this A$$@#*($ can imagine the truth

Why do players, and even team presidents deal with this guy Fontana, it seems a no brainer, he is full of it.
He wants to make money and does not care what cituation he put the players in. After Didi Torrico had that Poland thing fall through he fell off. Btw atsegnorts you are a well of information.

Not sure what the reason is, but have you heard of him? Was he ever called back to the national team? He was a promising talent, he even scored against Argentina. Now Am not sure where he plays. Maybe if he played for one of the big teams in Bolivia instead of following Fontana his path would have been better.

yea its weird. last i heard he was playing with nacional potosi, but that was 2 seasons ago. now apparently signed for san jose. i don´t understand how after the bolivar thing, he just fell off. its like he stopped playing well. I have yet to understand why Didi fell off the map like that. I hope we see the same old didi this time around.

Ok so Didi played in Bolivar but sucked. Then I agree he probably started pounding 40's like there's no tomorrow and fell of the map. But what about Mauricio Saucedo, why is he back? Did he not cut it in a second division team? I thought for sure he would do well in Bragantino, then move on to a first division team. Instead it looks like he is going to sign with Strongest, which is not horrible, but It's not Brazil. Anyone know why he is back?

He didn't see much playing time in Brazil, and he wants the NT to be his showcase and he knows that we have Ecuador, Peru and Uruguay all three games are going to be in altitude so he wants to secure his spot on the NT and maybe get a contract for next year by playing in La-Paz for The Strongest. Plus Saucedo and Villegas are boys from way back in 08 when he first started to show promise playing for Universitarios, so I'm guessing he pretty much is going to start.

I remember him actually. He came from that u-17 nt that we had in 09 that almost qualified to the wc of that age. Teammates with galindo, alvarez, justiniano, mendoza(playing in chile), etc.
From what i had last heard of him, after that u-17 he had signed for Figueirense in brasil. Figueirense at the time was in 1st division, im not sure if they still are, they still could be and he could still belong to them. My guess is Gareca is in paraguay on a loan basis, but i wouldn´t know about his current situation. I´ve personally never heard of indepediente of paraguay.

    WHY??
that's so stupid, now he is officially lost and out of the mix for the NT.
If he wanted to leave portugal his best bet was to join some south american club here, or even join Bolivar or Oriente. But now he's officially lost.

^^^^^ Is he still there I thought he was dropped??? anybody remember

Alex Pontons doesn't seem to be on Milan's reserve squad, at least he's not on th line-up for last season's matches, but he could be injured or still play for a lower youth team (he turns 18 in november) Milan's website is not really helpfull.

Last article that mentions him goes bach to march of 2011 when he was called to the NT for the U-17. http://www.acmilan.com/en/news/search

Guthrie, I thought it was Josue not Luis, I dont think is in Brescia anymore. There was an article last year about him comming back to Bolivia.
Last I checked (Nov. 12) Pontons was there but they have like 20 diff youth teams and was listed in one of them. IT wasnt the 2nd or thrid team though, so not very promising for him.
Suarez is there and for the longest there was talk of him moving up to the first team but that hasnt happened yet.
