From what I've read about Rico's deal in Germany, it's totally possible for the Dynamo to get him back, and if he wants to come back like somebody said somewhere (perhaps Jesus Ortiz), I could actually really see this happening. We already know that Dom has said they would approach him if he was interested. I'm getting excited.
Good read... Ricardo Clark back to Houston? It could really happen http://prosoccertalk.nbcsports.com/2012/07/18/ricardo-clark-back-to-houston-it-could-really-happen/
LOL @ all the butthurt USA fans, not just in this article's comments but elsewhere. Anytime Clark is mentioned on soccer blogs he takes a lot of heat for that Ghana game. It was Bradley's fault for using an inexperience mid in such a crucial game. Houston Dynamo >>> USMNT
Supposedly only coming back to the US as a last resort according to his Agent who also mentions that they have spoken to other German Clubs and are waiting on their response. We shall see....
I find it hard to belive that a guy who was cut from a second division German team, while on loan to a bottom of the table norweigian team, would have a whole lot of offers in Europe. On the other hand Rico once said that MLS sood for "must leave soonest", so maybe he'll take any offer to not have to come back stateside. Hopefully he decides to come back to re-energize his career.
There were a whole lot more issues in that game than just Clark as well. He didn't help things but that was not a strong match for the USA.
I would love to have Rico back. As in probably 90% of player transfer issues it will probably come down to money. And I think that is going to be the hurdle here - what do you pay Clark to come back that makes sense for the Dynamo and MLS that is enough to get him out of the lower-tier Euro leagues (and that's unfortunately where I see him heading if he wants to stay over there, he's not getting at Tier 1 league contract). Rico made $248K his last year in MLS (2009). I suspect he was making north of $400K in Germany, at least to start. I can't see the Dynamo paying him that, but if you compare him to Feilheiber, that's in the ballpark. At 29, whatever 2+2 option year contract he signs could dictate the remaining best years of his professional career so he may try to hang on in Europe in hopes of bigger money.
at one point in the game kamara was talking to carr on the sidelines and i was like nooooo dont listen to him, he's evil... lower your helmet.. go like this 'la la la la' we dodged one.. locker room cancer almost struck again!!!
Bit of bad news for John Michael Hayden: http://www.courier-journal.com/arti...am-will-sit-out-2012-13-season?nclick_check=1
It appears as if Mike Chabala will be bringing his No Place For Ha8 campaign to DC. Hopefully the DC PR folks can get him hooked up with some WHAM! clothing and beach balls for a new photo shoot.
And the Portland TV annnouncer John Strong (also does some NBC Sports games) just threw Chabala under the bus on twitter for being a bad locker room guy. Wow, don't see that much.
not MLS quality IMO..........overall quality of MLS sides is improving. Its gonna be tough on alot of bench players in the offseason i think. Depth is gonna get even better.
Oh Westside...haven't been on in awhile as I grew tired of JuveChelsea...still see you are homophobic. Don't worry not your secret is safe
Try mixing in the proper use of the word "homophobic" next time you come back in to visit. The only thing I fear about Mike Chabala is having his future non-soccer employers view the video of his photo shoot and vomit on me.

The Peaceful Warrior to University of Washington http://www.gohuskies.com/sports/m-soccer/mtt/waibel_craig00.html
good for him-but if he ever puts on a Rave green jersey I will personally fly up there and challenge the mighty Waibel and kick his ass.
I'd pay to see that (today, August 21, 2012 is the 37th Anniversary of the day that the Peaceful Warrior arrived on earth)
So who has news on Stuart Holden? I'm worried that I've seen no reports of him playing for Bolton. What is up with his recovery? ----- OK: Just found this on his website:
