Would it be too much to ask for a listing of names from left to right? I'm not that familiar with youth team faces.

It's not just his size either. Kid's got heart.
Blackett is decent at LB but I like him even more at CB.

My attempts [from L to R]: Eric Harrison, Valencia, Scholes, Bebe, Lingaard, Phelan? [looking a little old], Kagawa, Brady, Veseli, Powell, Amos, Wooten, Kiko, Johnstone, Berba, Cheech, Blackett, Vermij, SAF, Tunncliffe, Carrick, Rene, Lindegaard, Anderson, Petrucci, Rio.

I just did them in one row.

Just curious, why is that? What do you see that you like from him there?

Oh yeah, and Blackett > Fryers for us. One can control the ball easily, the other cant.

Whenever I saw him there for the under-18's last season he looked really good. He was strong, commanding in the air, good on the ball and tough to beat overall.

At LB he's a little less impressive for me but I agree that he's miles ahead of Fryers. He also packs a belter of a freekick as Syed said.

benni... thanks for that. I guess I hadn't seen too much of him next to older players. He does look filled out. Not huge mind you cuz Rio is quite nashy, but bigger in the frame than I suspected.

Either way, this is make or break time for Petrucci. He's got another season or two at the most.

That's Eric Steele, the goalkeeping coach, not Eric Harrison.

The reserves were involved yesterday I think. All the players that were on tour the fringe ones played. Bebe, Petrucci, Macheda, Lingard, and Tunnicliffe scored. The game ended 6-2. A couple of notables, Agnaldo and Gladstony played as second half substitutes. I am guessing none will get involved in the European tour especially with the return of most first team players.

That is good news. I like the sound of that U21 league. Should be a challenge for our kids and yet another way to reward our good kids with pt against better competition.

This also came at the perfect time for our current crop of under 18s to benefit from.
