Oh! Thank you so much for pointing that out. I am thinking about just adding all of the information right next to the game. (Time/Date/Day of Week at least)
You may need to think about this for Chivas and Chicago as well if you want to stay with three or less letters.
One of our normal sources tweeted that the NBCSN game was 259k and not 256k. It may have just been a typo though. I am going to stick with 256k for the summary
For people who like the comparisons and don't follow on twitter here are some random numbers. Tour De France did a 435k on NBCSN on Sunday MLL did 82k on ESPN2 on Sunday Arena Football did 82k on NFL Network

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say the PDX/Seattle game on September 15th will pull 1.5 million on regular NBC network.
That is a high guess but would love to see it. The competition from college football will obviously be huge. It is probably too early to know what the lead in will be. The question will be promotion. It took forever for people to realize games were on NBCSN. As such I imagine a bunch of people who would normally want to watch will simply miss it. Of course that should be more than balanced by the fact that people will be flicking past NBC and may arbitrarily land on the game.
Cable box took a s*#T... They say the soonest they can fix it is Thursday morning. That's simply not acceptable.
Probably NY not carrying its weight as usual. This should have been 450K at the absolute minimum. Seems like NY is involved in a lot of the games that get really low ratings. There are a few exceptions, but those ratings were high because of their opponent, not NY. I start to wonder what the ratings would be if NY didn't have 18 million+ population. Other than the Portland/Seattle game, I'm not impressed with the ESPN1 ratings at all. The 215/217K ratings are pretty unacceptable.
No, I pointed this out earlier. This game did not have the big lead-ins that the some of the others had. It's as simple as that. Bowling was the lead-in. I predicted, at best, a 350k for the game. It got 344k. Not surprised at all.

They aren't going to fix it, they are going to just give you a new one. Who is your provider? With ATT and Comcast you should be able to just take your box to any of there stores and change it out.
Im sorry but the NHL brought in 3 billion dollars and just recently signed a 2oo million a year over the next ten years Tv deal. Also franchise fees are 130 million. MLS still has a while before it reaches the NHL.
My provider is Cox. I did the duty myself. Just went in there and swapped it out. I can only get it to work via component cables. My HDMI port on my television (or all 3 of them I should say) are done for. No idea how it happened but I've used 2 different cables. No success.
My math shows 444.7k Also, the ESPN + Deportes average would be 488k. The ESPN2/Deportes average is 315k. Across ESPN family of networks the average MLS game is drawing 402K viewers.
Whoops. The 465k was last weeks average. I have it correct in my spread sheet but forgot to update it in the summary. Thanks for the heads up.
BTW, the Portland-LA game was the 7th highest rated program on NBCSN this past week. The first six were all Tour De France related programs.
