I like both but the away shirt is a bit too Independiente

I dont like the home white one so much. weirdly plain, I mean overall it looks nice but the collar and the black shoulder stripes dont do it for me. Also I agree with the overly Independiente part about the red but I like it alot. I like the red on red band, and I like the big white collar and white sleeve ends. I am looking forward to having that one.

To calm some of the tensions after the whole Cave-Chori/Almeyda-DAP affair, check out Pipino Cuevas dancing on a Paraguayan TV show:

Good to be back, hermano!! Nothing like a random post to announce I am still alive jaja!! It has been a long and hard year but its good to have River where it belongs. That said, lets get ready for more nerves, smiles and cantitos this season, and always with passion.

Well the Banderazo against the Kaiser is out of the wat now so let us get on with organizing a team to be at least top six in the inicial.A few hundred led by a bunch of delincuentes not the silly 2000 mentioned in Ole which is every day a good advertiment that Clarin miente.
Anyway if Barovero and Mercado sign and we somehow manage to get Perez Tagliafico and Estigarribia we will be a long way imo to being very very competitive.
    Barovero,
    Mercado,Maidana,Ramiro Funes Mori,Orban,
    Perez,Ponzio,Cirigliano,Estigarribia,
    Trezeguet y Ocampos
    alternative
    Chichizola,
    Abecasis,Pezzela,Gonzalez Pires,Tagliafico,
    Sanchez,Ledesma,Aguirre,
    Lanzini,o Cazares
    Funes Mori,Vilalva.
We have to hope there will be no big sales as its obvious the clubs financial situation appears to be returning to a certain tranquility.

It would be a pity if you leave the forum as you have contributed greatly to it.
I never said you were a delinquent.I said the banderazo was led by Barras Bravas delincuentes.
As I said it would be a great pity if you cant even share a forum with those of different opinion but if you cant the loss is yours.Vamos River

Haha my intention was to stay away, but I can't. I think I'm addicted to these forums... the truth is i am going through some personal shit, and a lot of thre regulations put in by cristina are making my life difficult so exploted on here. Not a good choice

We hinchas de river need to be united, sorry for the attack i wrote that while hungover/still drunk and was not in a good mood. We need to stay united against these bosteros... many of whom will no longer be fans of the club now that riquelme has gone. Meanwhile, River fans have stayed through 18 years without a championship, the descenso, everything... we have the most loyal fans in the world

The truth is, i will support river no matter who the president is, no matter who goes on the field... VAMOS RIVER CARAJO!!!!!

I suggest you stop supporting boca and come over to the good side. Not only is our stadium in a much safer place and our uniforms are much better, but we are the home of good futbol. (enzo, ortega, gallardo, la maquina, etc) I know Macri had a great marketing campaign for boca, but if you come to bs as and spend some time here i'm sure you'll change your mind

Had you added "we have Scorpion and Subzero as fans" I might've considered it. :p Alas (or not), I've been to both La Bombonera and El Monumental and there's just something magical about the vibrations and the strange acoustics in Boca's stadium...

I'm a bit worried about the first game of the season. The atmosphere is going to be so tense... I really don't like that our return to primera is against Belgrano. Not that I think Belgrano is any good, but that our team hasn't exactly proven to be very mentally strong over the past 2 seasons and its going to weigh on the minds of the team.

I also don't get what Almeyda is trying to do with the team... It looks like he has a 4-4-2 in mind with a right back playing left back and to carrilleros who aren't carrilleros. One is an enganche, the other is a forward.

I hope it works, but we've seen that inventing positions for people doesn't work well.

The only good news is that Belgrano is missing its best player Picante Pereyra and they just sold their best midfielder Ribair Rodriguez to Siena in Italy...

I think River can win, but it won't be easy by any means, i see it being 2-1 River with a goal from Trezeguet and Lanzini

Loks like we are going to sign a seven year contract with Adidas for 45 million dollars + extras to wear their gear.& million dollars ayear with the Bank deal of 4,5 million annually leaves us just short of 12 million dollars a year about 10 million Euro for shirt advertising with the sleeve sponsors to be added.

The contract for Tramontina is for half a million dollars to sponsor the sleeves (its the same brazilian houseware company from last year)... But i agree, its a great move from DAP to resign with addidas, though it was logical. River and Addidas go hand and hand... I could never imagine River wearing nike or puma

There is absolutely NO question as to who makes the best looking jerseys in the world...

100% de acuerdo. But the fact that we are earning around $11US million a year for clothing is an improvement and more transparent than the past

It looks like we will line up something like this:

    ----------------Barovero
    Mercado---Maidana---G Pirez-----Vella

    Ocampos-----Ciri----Ponzio-----Lanzini
    -----------------FM9----David

Its a good line up minus Vella. If we could somehow get Tagliafico or a good 3 from somewhere I'd like our chances much more this torneo, but I see that position really being a weakness... Just like it has been

I think we can beat Belgrano. We need to beat those muertos who have done nothing but talk shit for the past year. We need to put them in their place
