    Haha goal.com

Mancini can say what he wants, if the money is right, they're shipping Dzeko out of town. I still don't believe it'll happen, but you never know. Fingers crossed for Edin.

and his superiors have say over that. The Sheikh has declared no more money for the time being, they have to sell if they want to buy.

I see the City fans are very much ready to get rid of him. Bluemoon is giddy with excitement.

God, if anything, just go to Milan so I dont have to listen and read their idiotic drivel ever again. Seljaci.

Yeah he does... Mancini is the judge, jury and executioner... The Sheik has made that VERY clear. That's why he gave him a 7.5 million yearly contract for the next 5 years.

This could be a ploy to get more money out of certain teams or reduce the price in the player plus cash rumor with Arsenal for RvP.

Either way a deal has to be done before the 17th, I would be incredibly surprised if Edin goes on tour and then gets traded.

Why would that be surprising? Happens all the time. Just because Mancini got a ridiculous contract doesn't mean Khaldoon and the upper management don't have final say. Don't be naive.

    Check this out, very interesting:

Hadzjia you seriously believe Mancini wants Dzeko at City? Get out of here, he never wanted him there to begin with, it was Khaldoon. Dzeko was brought in as 1. yes a striker but also as 2. jail bait for future class players like Aguero, nasri, etc.

He's not wanted at City, by the coach, the fans, or the GM. Just get out of there and go to Milan where you'll be appreciated, earn big bucks, and play for your childhood team.

This makes sense in so many ways. Wenger should definitely pull the trigger. Edin finally becomes a leader of a pretty good team(although nowhere close to City) and can prove all those who doubted him..
Some of these contracts(not just in soccer) are becoming insane and so i think you'll see a time come(hopefully soon) where the leagues are working based on a cap system just like NFL, NHL and some other leagues too. It will become difficult for shitty managers like Mancini to win because he won't be able to buy the title...so if that happens i'd go with a team who spends more wisely and I think Arsenal is one of those. Also, I think chances of some of our players like Pjanic, Lulic and so on coming there eventually are pretty good as well (Wenger wanted Pjanic for awhile).

I think he would fit in well at Milan, and Allegri was himself pushing for a playmaker. Either way, we need to make up for the gap. As far as Mancini being in charge of transfers... no. Things can always change and they can change quickly.

The fans would love him at Milan and it would help ease their pain.

I don't mind Milan or Juve either..I prefer it this way just because EPL is a better league imo and i think it suits his style of play a bit more.

So there was a poll taken on a Milan forum recently, Tevez or Dzeko. Fans voted like this so far:

    60 for Dzeko
    15 for Tevez.

    Its time

I love how delusional you guys are getting. It's as if Dzeko is god. What if Dzeko goes to Milan and his career tanks? You guys will be here next year saying ''He should have never moved from City...''

I assume you have talked to Mancini and know he didn't want to bring in Dzeko? Because of course he never had a different striker who had similar attributes as him... You guys are blowing this crap way out of proportion. As if the sky is falling.

Yeah some do take it to an extreme. Let's face it, Mancini knows if he lets Dzeko go and doesn't sign VP(which owners won't won't give any extra money for) he'll likely not win it next year. This, coupled with another questionable player in Balo(you never know what you have with that guy) and you could be screwed badly. He doesn't always make the best decisions(the whole Tevez thing was handled very poorly, certain players playing ahead of others as well) but in this case he recognizes when he should hang on to someone very important and in this case thats Edin. For that you gotta give some credit.

Also, that point about his career tanking in Milan. I would go as far to say that he wouldn't do as well. That mostly from watching Serie A quite a bit and noticing how much more defensive it is (yet not as much offensive talent compared to EPL and La Liga)..so from that point i think it may be harder for him to score as much. They'd have to put some good playmakers in that team for him to do well.

    1. Milan (he'll be used correctly, likely will go back to Wolfsburg Dzeko, will be appreciated by fans, etc.)
    2. Arsenal (staying in the EPL means he can whoop on City)
    3. Juventus (Moving to Serie A would be nice, good system for Dzeko)

I would be shocked if Dzeko didn't make a move to Milan or Arsenal. All these rumors aren't there for anything, and it's obvious Milan wants him. Arsenal wants. Juve has been linked to him inn the past. There are too many variables here to ignore the fact that Dzeko is likely going to be packing his bags and say goodbye to Manchester forever (thank goodness).

Dzeko should go to Arsenal or Juventus, clubs that are actually getting into positions for silverware in the near future.

Forget about Milan for awhile, they're nowhere near good enough to win any of the big trophies next season because their squad is filled with a bunch of average players now and Berlu/Galli won't spend much at all this summer. Dzeko shouldn't go there right now, it isn't the right career move in my opinion. Maybe in two or three years things will be better but right now it's a bad move for him should he go.

Milan isn't huh? I don't think Dzeko would be the only purchase we would make this summer. I think this team is good enough and It hink there are good enough players. We just sold one of our best defenders, and to say we won't spend at all... I don't think is accurate.

And as far as Juventus, they already have a ton of strikers and are more interested in Van Persie. Arsenal hasn't won a trophy in a very long time.

I didn't say Milan won't spend at all, I just said that they won't spend much of that money they'll get from the transfers.

Nesta, Inzaghi, Zambrotta, Gattuso, van Bommel, Seedorf, Aquilani, Thiago Silva, and Ibrahimovic have all left this summer, with Robinho, Pato, and Boateng not tied down yet and a couple of those guys might leave too. Milan have signed players like Kevin Constant, Bakaye Traore, Gabriel, and Francesco Acerbi so far this summer. It doesn't really look like the team will be strong enough to compete on the Serie A and CL fronts and we all know Galliani/Berlusconi aren't going to go out and spend some big money on quality players, especially not now with the financial situation Milan is in.

It's more than likely to be a transitional season for Milan as they move on from that successful era of players who have been around for awhile and I don't want Dzeko to go there right now if that's the case. Maybe in a few years I'd like him to go there when Milan is strong enough to compete for the major trophies but right now it clearly isn't the case.

Juventus need a quality striker in their team because that's what they lack, Dzeko is the right guy for them and Juventus is the right club for him right now. Arsenal haven't won a trophy in awhile but they are clearly making improvements with their squad by signing Podolski, Giroud, and the return of Wilshere from injury. They can compete for something this year with someone like Dzeko up front to replace their departing captain. I think those two possible destinations are better than going to Milan right now.
