I can say the types at PFA, FA and most other combinations of letters (I guess that's why the kick out guy has kept his mouth shut) are wriggling quite badly this weekend.

This might sound strange but I don't care. I don't really even care what Terry said on the pitch. Players have gotten so sensitive these days that I am amazed that people aren't employed to counsel them on the pitch in 'love huddles' in case someone gets offended or their feelings hurt by mean comments.

The fact that Rio convinced his brother to say he was hurt by something he didn't even hear doesn't surprise me. I am no John Terry fan but for the FA now to keep this thing going just makes it appear that there is a real problem with racism in the EPL when in fact i don't believe that to be the case.

The FA has never been a fan of LFC, probably never will be; they were going to get Suarez no matter what, old Whiskey nose had made a decision and the FA followed through on it. The dozens of different 'organizations' out there just need something to do in order to justify the millions of pounds they get form various FA or government entities to 'do something'. They will now focus on JT and try to hang him out. I don't like him but this is starting to get boring now.

I bet that the FA will announce soon that poor JohnTerry has suffered enough and he has been found innocent in Her Majesty's Courts so it would be "unfair" to pursue this matter any further. And they may suspend Anton for bringing the game and "a fellow professional" in disrepute.

Everyone should care because there are glaring double standards at work here that are just unacceptable, especially coming from a nation's judicial system and football's governing body. It sets a horrible precedent and just makes it look ridiculous. It reflects poorly on everyone. I still can't get over the ruling.

No Old Firm could well be the kiss of death for the SPL as we know it. Might be interesting what this gives birth to over time, though.

That's correct. However, I just want terry banned 'cause I think the guy is filth. In fact, I want him gone from the game, period.

You're not the only one. The worst thing is the protection of a guy like this from the English media and FA. How long does one have to sink to need to make a hero out of such a questionable human being?

The Scottish Football League has signed it's own death warrant. The Old Firm was the only thing keeping that league going.

It's funny, glass houses and all that, but most of these teams have survived financially because of the money that Rangers helped bring in. So when Rangers has financial difficulty they exile them to the fourth division? Really dicks? Really?

It wasnt finacial difficulty but straight up fraud. In 2008 Gretna were in debt of almost £3m and were equally punished( and to be fair to Gretna their debts were to businesses and not to the actual taxpayers). Dundee also had a similar punishment a few seassons ago. Rangers are getting the same treatment as any other club, to treat them differently would highlight how much of a mickey mouse league it is by only punishing the weak.

Someone told me that Suarez was banned because of repeated racial abuse infractions during that game. If the FA doesn't do anything, it stinks of a lot worse than racial abuse.

Terry has a pattern of being a scum bag, on and off the field.

I know this, but Dundee is not Rangers, the league can survive without Dundee. Rangers and Celtic prop up that sorry excuse for a league. Without the Old Firm I see several other clubs in the SPL going into administration when they don't have Rangers around for in a best scenario, 5 seasons.

I'm not saying they aren't doing the moral thing here, they are. But it's only going to hurt them, in the long run.

Lets say it takes Rangers 5 years to get back into the top flight thats 5 years one other club gets to play in the Scottish Premier League(£), 5 or more years of another team taking that 2nd CL qualifier place(££) and a few years more of the 2 scottish domestic cups being more competitive(£££).

Also note that most fans of Scottish clubs petioned their teams to enforce a punishment that they themselves would have received had they did what Rangers did. Its a catch 22 situation as those fans coulde of stopped attending matches if Rangers were let off the hook.

There is more to Scottish football than the Glasgow duopoly, it might lose some interest abroad but should reinvigorate the game for the home fans.

But the majority of the money comes from tv revenue, tv revenue directly linked to the Glasgow Duopoly.

Which beneifits primarily the Glasgow clubs as they are both shown every week. A smaller contract but more variety in what games and teams are broadcast rather than the usual Rangers vs ... and Celtic vs ... games which usually happen every weekend.
