This is from today: The fuk? Nyema just can't stay away More pics here: http://sportsport.ba/galerija/trening-zeljeznicara/2586#14
I might be the bad guy here, but does anyone else feel sick to the stomach that Yoshida might actually make the team? I hope to god he does for his sake and I really want him to succeed, but the guy actually quit football for a decent amount of time to get a college education instead. If he can make it, then anyone can... Danijel Brkovic didn't even get a chance at the MLS but he made it at Velez and is now scoring goals left and right in Zeljo's friendly matches. Our league is a total fucking joke.
He might actually be pretty good though, and keep in mind, he's just going to be a bench warmer for the most part.
There's a reason why Zeljeznicar won the league and cup so easily last season. It's because they're far superior to every club in this country and they'll come good against Maribor. I'm sure of it.
Sarajevo conceded soooo many goals lately. 6 against Maribor. 6 against Hibernians. I just don't get how Tatomirovic, Tadejevic, Gujic, Karamatic, and Zlatkovic can immediately start the day after signing for the club. I've never seen a bigger assault on club chemistry than the Sarajevo ordeal in the past month.
Sarajevo has been on a downward spiral since that exit to Cluj in the Europa League playoffs a couple of years ago. They've never recovered from that and they've just been extremely average since. Even one of the best coaches in the league in Dragan Jovic isn't even able to keep this ship from sinking, it's really a shame of what has become of FK Sarajevo in just a matter of two to three years.
Our football teams are the absolute worst at damage control. We always go on a crazy downward spiral after a significant loss in an advanced round, whether that's Bosnia-Portugal or Sarajevo-Cluj.
Zeljeznicar didn't, and that's after TWO humiliating demolition jobs against Hapoel and Maccabi. It's because they have the management to help them compete. Bosnia and Sarajevo desperately need someone like Amar Osim in charge, but I don't even think that could do much for the latter. They have Jovic, a proven coach in this league and yet still it's the same problems over and over again.
I see it as more of a structural problem. Their entire management is a mess. For both FK Sarajevo and the national team (FA).
Most of the blame has to go on those idiots Sarajevo had in their board a year ago. You remember, the guys who made all those promises and then left Sarajevo in a bad position right in the middle of the season? Complete trainwreck it turned out, it was very amateurishly handled and that is not the way forward for any team in the world. Bosnia has Susic and Baljic running things in the national team, enough said.
Borac in Europa League Qualifying First Leg: Borac 2-2 Celik Niksic Despite playing at home, Borac Banja Luka could not pull out a victor against their Montenegrin opponents. Almost 1,000 people showed up to watch a sub-par performance from Borac in a game that showed just how tough that Celik Niksic could actually be. The first goalscorer of the game was Bojic, who put up Celik Niksic 1-0 in the 37' from the spot. After that, the Borac Banja Luka equalizer came two minutes later from Stakic, who scored a beautiful goal. Shortly after that, Borac scored again in the 42' to take the lead 2-1. Things were looking good for Borac, and then the tying goal came from Agovic in the 82'. This goal that Borac conceded would prove to be very, very costly in the second leg.... Second Leg: Celik Niksic 1-1 Borac Borac Banja Luka came into the game knowing they faced a difficult situation. In order to advance to the second round f the Europa League qualifying, they needed to win, or draw 3-3 or higher. 0-0/1-1 would knock them out, because they would have conceded more away goals. The match started off quietly, and there would be no goals in the first half (although Celik had a great chance in the 15' from Adrovic ; nothing came of it), although the Celik Niksic supporters were still chanting and having a good time. They knew this result would keep their team into the next round. Then came the second half. The Bosnian club would be playing with 10 men due to Zivkovic's red card. Borac then let up the first goal of the game, this time coming from Ivanovic, just three minutes after the red card. The Montenegrin club was in great position, all they needed to do was not let Borac score two goals. Milic then gave Borac a chance in 66', but it the result stood like that by the end of the game. Aggregate: Celik Niksic 3(a)-3 Borac Banja Luka

Yeah the tie was over and there was no way back for Borac after drawing at home in the first leg. Must have been mission impossible to win away to an amateur team. lol where do these coaches come from? They're decades behind the coaches you see in Croatia, Serbia, and Slovenia in terms of modern day football knowledge and tactics.
Very true, had they kept it at 2-1 and the defense had kept their composure and held out for eight more minutes, we would not be talking about a Borac elimination right now....
Alright everyone, i know you are all pissed and mad at how bad we played against Hibernians and how Borac got kicked out by Celik, but you gotta take the positives from this (and trust me there actually are some!!!) 1) We actually advanced guys. 2) Hadzic scored three goals in two games, he has proven he can be our star for years to come if he keeps playing like this. 3) It's football so anything can happen against Levski Sofia. See, there isn't all bad stuff from that game. Hopefully Jovic has learned that you should always keep the guys you played with all season. If you wanna implement new players into the starting XI you gotta do it gradually (pretty much, I mean sub them on for five minutes, the next game 10, then a whole half, and all the way until you can trust them to be starters!). Thats all I gotta say from this game... oh wait.... HAJMO SARAJEVOOO!!
