This begins the week of weeks-this is the make or break 3. We don't necessarily have to win all 3. But losing any one of them will really hurt. This our part of the race to make a move on the pack. DALE DYNAMO! I think the boys will be ready and will top the Scum.
This is my only game this week before I disembark for my Chelsea travels, so it better be a win on Sunday!
Either Dynamo 1 - 0 DC United or Dynamo 2 - 1 - DC United. Cory Ash hat trick... Don't hate, it could happend...
DeRo scores and does the chicken dance. Bruin follows with an even flashier dancn' bear. I'm bummed for the tie but still happy on my way home with three free cans of beans. (if you can snag coupons instead, you can claim beans 3x the size as the one's they give out) I think the guys will rise to the occasion for game one of the next three.
Dynamo should try to trade for Justin Braun now since he just got traded to RSL. Could you imagine Ching and Braun up top?
I like Justin Braun even though he scored a hat-trick against the Dynamo. He has vast potential like Will Bruin, but has not really had a chance to break through yet. Maybe injury prone?
we can't lose this game. we need three points. important next few games coming up. copy and paste. repeat, repeat, repeat. month after month. year after year same thing for 3 years now. until we finish the cameron trade and bring in a real forward, it will be a race to mediocrity again (regular season speaking).
Canetti tweeted yesterday that they're not heading toward a sell-out for this game. July is apparently a brutal attendance month. They do have ticket deals:
Its tough to sell for 3 games in 7 days, with one starting at 8:00 on a Sunday night. I thought the TFC game would be the low water mark for attendance but it may be SKC, which makes no sense from a competitive standpoint, but the calendar hurts it.
It's not just us. Last year when we went to KC for the regular season game, it was like their third in a week or so, including a big LAG game. It was a small crowd for the Dynamo game, even though their stadium was still brand new. The turf hadn't even taken root yet.
I hated that, too. I liked him when he played for Chivas because it seemed at the point that he was the only Chivas USA player that had heart. No matter the score - whether his team was winning or losing - he gave his all. Really wish he went to us instead of Montreal.
