Does anyone know where I can access the file for the yoyo intermittent recovery test for women? The SPARQ people redesigned their website and took the women's file off. Only the men's is accessible and it is too fast for my college ladies.

I have used it as a preseason test and I am scratching my head at what to do without it. The response from SPARQ was not helpful.

I did some quick research. This is a guess, but an educated guess. It looks to me that SPARQ was a business in the strength and conditioning coaching area. Since 2004. It has local strength and conditioning coaches that affiliated with SPARQ. It developed testing and various products. It associated with NIKE to sell its products. Now Nike says that SPARQ is its athletic performance division. This is the guess: Nike bought SPARQ, dropped the coaching part and is marketing the products.

My suggestion is to find a former affiliate of SPARQ and get the file from them.

I am not familiar with the file you are talking about. If it is just a means to convert the raw data from one of the tests into the SPARQ "overall" score, you don't need it. The value of testing is to measure personal performance, which the raw data will do. You can make up your own "overall" scoring system to fit your needs. The SPARQ "overall" score aspect is just a sales gimmick. It really serves no training purpose to compare one person's raw scores to another person's scores, much less comparison of overall scores. At least the raw data will give you feedback on the effectiveness of your training program. An overall score won't.

    Drop us an email, SPARQ.Questions@SPARQTraining.com

The link you provided above is not the SPARQ Training website, which is http://SPARQTraining.com The above address is actually the Nike Soccer website.

That being said, the files are not on the website any more, but I have a copy right here and can easily send you a link to them.
