Villa changes from Nike to Macron for the new season. Not bad on the design. Mine's on order so it'll be waiting for me when I get home.
Didn't Spurs finish in the top 5 twice in the three years before he took over? I think his level might be blown out of proportion (no doubt due to the extremely high standard of coaching we're used to seeing in cbus)
If I'm Spurs, the three targets for me would be Spalletti, Mazzari, and Jovanovic from APOEL. In that order. Moyes would be a safe pair of hands, no doubt, but I don't see him being tempted. I love Roberto Martinez but I think he'd be too big of a risk. AVB or Benitez? Can't see it myself.
When I first heard Harry was out I figured Moyes would be leading candidate. I really didn't want to see him go but the more I thought about it the more I have decided I think it's time for Everton to have a change. Well now it doesn't look like Moyes will be leaving. Funny how things work in the opposite direction sometimes.
Sure why not sell off Modric, Bale and Assou-Ekotto too? Watch how quickly I can jump on the Man City band wagon.
I'm just as depressed as anyone to see the Juande Ramos Era Part Deux start. But if you want to ditch the club for said reasons, don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.
My heart will not let me ditch but this might get really hard for a few years. It looks like Modric is going to Real Madrid. I hope they get a pretty penny for him. I still like the players so I will focus on that.
I guess so, at least it maintains his maximum resell value. What I like though is that the manager job is so specific now (i.e. basically dealing with on field activities) that player signing and contract extensions etc can be done without even having a manager employed!
http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/spu...-villas-boas-as-new-head-coach-03072012.page? AVB is the new Tottenham coach. He will have an easier time than at Chelsea. Here is hoping.
The way the Villa have been playing recently, I have to agree. Looks like we want to bounce up and down between the BPL and the Championship, just like West Ham. Or, you know, maybe it's just the same colors in almost the same configuration that Villa started wearing, oh say, 13 years before West Ham did.
Shhh... mustn't spoil a good fantasy. If other teams want to look like his, then his team must be relevant. AVFC 1975 League Cup Final
Go right ahead and tout the new jersey. Last time a team wore something like that, they got relegated. Someone must have set the bar low Side note: I went to the Hammers/Villa game in 2011 and Agbonlahor scored in the 90th minute to steal a win. You should have heard the fans.
My wife and I were at that match, too. A guy in whose box we were sitting had bet £1000 on Villa and won with that goal.
Everton actually signing someone before the last minute of the deadline. Granted he is on a free transfer because we still have zero money. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18701146
I posted this in another thread but wanted to post it here in case it wasnt read there: I talked to one of the owners up at Wurst und Bier and he said they are going to try to show every Bundesliga match that they can get. He said they are exploring a few different options right now.
While I never like the Rangers, I am just fine with plucking their former talent! Jelavic and now Naismith. Maybe EDU will come to the Crew?
