Once Municipal will have a meeting today to decided whether they will elect a new president or stay loyal to andres rodriguez, also rumors are circulating that Nelson Amcheat (might return to Once Municipal), if this is the case all i have to say is stupidity is making the same mistake twice , they tried this before and as result were technically relegated luckily Atletico Balboa financial problems saved them

so much confusion now with Once Municipal one report says they will name their new coach soon and it might be Mauricio Cienfuegos

However another report says that Once Municipa have still have not found a new president or owner, finiacially club is in good shape no debt whatsoeevr very rare thing in el salavdor football clubs, but if they find no president by monday their willing to sell their first division place for $ 50,000

It was a good day for FESA that is still leading the way in player development. FESA developed a few of the players that helped Santa Tecla go up especially Roberto Gonzalez that was the leading scorer in the 2nd division and scored what turned out to be the game winner today.

Turin FESA won the Centro Occidente 3rd division 2012 clausura championship. They will now take on 2011 apertura champion Atletico Comalapa for the right to play in the 2nd division.
San Sebastian won the Centro Oriente 2012 clausura championship and will now take on the 2011 apertura champion Espiritu Santo for the right to play in the 2nd division.

The first division presidents are thinking of making the playoffs bigger by allowing the top 6 teams to make it instead of the 4 we have now. I have seen how bad it works in other leagues I hate the idea. It leads to even more mediocrity. We should crown the top of the table finisher not reward a midtable team that gets on a hot streak at the end of the season. Our CCL participants could become even weaker this way as has happened in other central american countries.

Kiko Hernandez will be the new coach of Firpo. He just guided Santa Tecla to the first division.

Its about the money most clubs are wnating to reward teams that qualify with mroe financial incentive, though if they went with a top 6 they have to make the league into 12 9promoting two teams from second division and relegatong two teams.

Leonel Carcamo is the new coach of Once Municipal, he has a tough task rebuilding this team after losing 8 players

Edgar Kiko Henriquez is the enw coach of firpo

Nicolas Munoz, Aguila and the leagues highest goal scorer in the last campaign has been dropped from the team and will not renew. Any Aguila fans want to speak on this? I think what happened was they punished him for his little vacation to Panama because he did not keep in contact with the club. If so, I think they did the right thing not renewing him.

I haven't heard good things about those guys and one of them is related to the coach so we will see how those guys turn out. I am hoping Santa Tecla make things more competitive though for the most part they seem like a well run club.
