Ever since they took the Sonics I have lost all interest in the NBA. I hope the Heat win the series, I can't stand OKC or Clay Bennett anymore.

What? The guy is a genius! I wouldn't want to have any other GM except maybe Ken Holland. First he put most of that Vancouver team together and they've been one of the best teams in the NHL for quite a few years. Second, when he went to Anaheim he made all the key deals to get them the Stanley Cup. Also, if you look at some of the deals in the past 2 years. We sent Francois ********ing Beauchemin and got in return Joffrey Lupul (who had a career year 67 pts in around 70 games) and Jake Gardiner who's simply amazing..People are already comparing him to next Brian Leetch. We got rid of scrubs like Matt Stajan, Wellwood and Blake and brought in Dion Phaneuf, Cody Franson, Matthew Lombardi and recently JVR for a crappy 5th-6th dman in Luke Schenn. We got Morgan Rielly, one of the top defencemen in this draft (very quick, power play specialist and amazing vision) and are looking to add another similar player in Justin Schultz in the next few days. Our back end will look amazing. As for Nash and Luongo. If the rumors are true that they want Jake Gardiner for either one of those guys, ******** them. We are not giving up a 21 year old with so much potential for a goalie with that heavy contract and most likely just few more years of good play. Great dmen like this don't grow on trees. I read earlier also that what could be happening too is that neither of those guys want to come to TO because it's too much pressure to succeed(and this is nothing new either as many have said the same before) so if that part is true i don't want them anyways. My deal for Luongo would be a high draft pick and maybe a roster player like Cody Franson. Considering his contract no team in the league will give them anything close. As for Nash i think he deserves Kulemin, Franson, Scrivens and a high pick. Anything more is also a robbery as he's not a young guy anymore and his point totals are not exactly elite. Take also into account that we were top 10 in the league in terms of scoring so getting Nash isn't a must for scoring purposes. Leafs needs are top goalie and size up front so we can battle the Bruins and Flyers (we already got Van Riemsdyk so maybe another big body and we're done).
