The Dane, Agger would be a perfect fit for Barca...

That chance by Van Persie in the 42th min is really an unforgivable miss. A player like him should score it with his eyes closed. He choked big time.

A Dutch loss could be bad for us. They'll play their hearts out against us knowing they have to win to have any chance of going through. Knowing you have to win=no complacency. But we shouldn't have to rely on other teams for that, gotta take care of business ourselves.

Offence is the only thing the Dutch have going for them and it isnt even working well here

I would love it if they score in the last few mins...but im not worried much if they dont. Their defense isnt that good, and them having to go all out, would leave open at the back and extremely vulnerable to our counter attacks. If we win our game tonight, it would put us in a great position against them imo.

I won't take this match as much of any indication to anything. Denmark and Holland will be different when they play us...

A defeat for the Dutch may be the worst thing as they may be playing us knowing that a second reverse will send them home. Remember 1988, when they lost their opener 1-0 to the USSR.

They have arguably the least offensive minded central midfield pairing I've seen in a long time with MvB and de Jong. Nothing coming through them. Don't know why they took off Affelay, as he was by far their best player. Also don't know why they haven't put on Strootman, very promising attack minded CM.

Horrible performance from Holland - like Lahmfan said, they look just like Bayern in the CL final. If you have no goals after 26 attempts, you're not going to go far.

To be fair to the Dutch - and I don't adopt that position very often - some of the non-decisions by the officials have been bizarre. Just what are those additional people there for, if not to see an obvious handball in the box?

Are you talking abut the handball at the end? The one that hit the Dane that was one foot away from Hunterlaar?

I think the ref had a good match.

I agree - it was good see the ref being less card-happy than the one from yesterday's Pol-Gre game, but he did leave some pretty obvious stuff uncalled, the handball was especially clear.

Same here. Thought he's so far been the best ref out of the three games played. Strange, seeing how he's not from a powerhouse football nation, guess that can only be a good thing nowadays. Well, except Viktor Kassai in Bayern's 2nd leg vs. Real Madrid

Oh boy! Dutch losing put so much more pressure not only on the Dutch but everyone now! Denmark got heir heads up and will be looking for portugal. Holland will have to win against Germany.

This right now is ball in our court. As long as we do what we got to do on the pitch tonight this puts us is a v.v. strong position!

There are always surprises in football. You never know. I somehow believe France or Dutch will make it really far. Or throw in some odd nation around too. All these years of watching football, 1+1 never makes sense anymore.

The Dutch/Denmark Match is quite a good example, why this is indeed the Group of Death and we have to play with all that we have here. Hollands Offensive, in detail Wesley Sneijder looked sharp as hell even they couldn´t score. Those passes and crosses from Sneijder are just one of a kind.

The only thing Robben seems to do these days is cutting inside and hitting the ball 10 yards over the bar. I think a third straight Bundesliga title is coming to us.
