She was at the April Camp in florida "is giving a first-ever call-up to forward Christen Press, " As an alternate , she most likely will remain uncapped this year.
i miscommunicated there. by call-up, i meant call-up to the team, since i knew she had been called to camp before. i assume that 8macookies is right that it's the first time she's made the team.
I'm sorry, I knew what you meant, but I should have added that it appears US soccer has/had a different definition of the term. It also seems to have a definition of "made the team". from the Blog "Sundhage will take the freshly-named 2012 Olympic Team plus the four alternates to the three-team Volvo Winners Cup."
they've been there for a while, but video: team arrives in sweden. http://www.ussoccer.com/media-library/Videos/US-Women/2012/06/120607-WNT-Arrives-in-SWE.aspx most agree that the team is more relaxed, now that they know who made the olympic squad. rapinoe:"lots of blondes, ya know. love that"

Most teams don't have a mother of 2 on the team. Probably someone hired locally to look after Rampone's kid(s) (possible other kids along from the coaches/staff).
Well if the player have a day off that means the moomies are of an can take care of their kids so ofcourse the nanny would be of, wouldn't she? But seeing that she spend her time off with part of the the team, I would guess it is an american brought over with the team not a local talent.
I think I recall that one of the concessions won by the 99ers was that the USSF would help and provide a nanny so that players didn't have to choose between being a mom or being a soccer player. In addition to the Rampones, I think Jill brought her nephew along so that's at least three kids running around. (Not sure if the staff has kids.)
