It will be interesting to see how he fits in and whether or not he'll be given the necessary freedom to thrive.

Roma have an awesome coach. Bayern are still the kid that types FIRST! but is actually the second to reply. Chelsea pay Hazard more than Di Maria and Higuain earn together. :D

Noticed how Barcelona haven't officially presented Tito Vilanova as coach? What are they hiding? Is he actually going to be the coach next year?

Benzema with a world class finish.

    France 2-0 on Estonia.

Seems like Blanc is going with experience over ability. This lineup should most likely start against England, and while they've been ok so far, I would really hate to see Alou Diarra, Mexes, or Malouda start.

Benz and Ribery really finding eachother lately. They'll be deadly for the euros. However France shouldn't be playing Rami and Mexes together. They're both waaay to slow. Koscielny should start IMO

I was just thinking, Ronnie and Messi are definitely top 2 in the Balon D'Or, but who is number three? Van Persie, Ribery, Benzema, and Ozil all have a chance if they do well in the Euros. Funny how big the quality drop is from 2 to 3.

If Benzema continues this run of goal scoring form, he could be a contender for top goalscorer in the Euro's.

I don't think it's so much a drop in quality as it is Messi and Ronaldo have just been "otherwordly" the past couple of seasons, they're making players who under normal circumstances would be strong candidates for WPOTY look just plain bad

I don't see Benz in the running for 3rd, he'd be in the lower half of my top 10 probably. Between the other three, I agree any of them could be in the running for third, and it will come down to who has the best Euro tournament. I would bet on RVP of those three if I had to.

Although if Spain wins Euros again, maybe throw Xabi in there? He's a little "boring" for a Balon d'Or finalist but I think he'd be deserving.

    I don't agree.

The distance between Oezil and Ronnie / Messi isn't that big. He is by far the best passer in the game today and that must count for something. If Oezil has a spectacular Euro he may even be in contention for Balon d'Or (at least in my book).

I would also add Xabi Alonso, Iniesta and Didier Drogba to the number three contention list. Drogba solely due to the fact that he was the best player in the Champions League and the key factor to Chelsea winning the whole thing.

Days late but still thought it was quite funny.

Yes it is. Until either of those two stop scoring at that rate or he starts controlling matches on Xavi's level or assisting 50 times a year.

His Spanish isn't good enough to manipulate the attacking three well enough (referee, linesman A and B).

No excuses. Even a retard like Dani Alves hasn't let his inability to speak coherently stop him from manipulation.

We also need a midfield ball-distributor capable of 10 yard passes to play in front of the defensive midfield for Ozil to function at 100%. I hope Sahin will be the panacea we are looking for, but time will tell.

I agree. Really think Sahin and Ozil will work very well together if Sahin can push his way into the lineup.

Dani Alves having trouble with talking? If he lacks one ability it is the one to shut up.

His issue isn't the fact that it is non-stop it is the fact that it is incoherent and drivel.

Could someone either correct the spelling in the thread title or explain what 'Lahmest' means? Either will do.

^ Lahm means lame in German I believe. I will quote either Umar or 4x4 on this.

so i figure it goes along those lines, taking a jab at Lahm.
