On top of it all, given the new playoff structure, this literally means that unless one of these teams made a run at the supporters shield, there is absolutely nothing that this match means to anyone in the West. At least in the East, this match could conceivably alter playoff standings.

I'm guessing I wasn't alone in thinking this game didn't have a goal in it. Great pass by Feilhaber and excellent run by Rowe.
1) Rowe = awesome sub. Could have two goals already. 2) The entrance of Rolfe into the game prompted Mrs. Ismtije to sing a few bars of something she hasn't sung in many years: "You are sixteen, going on seventeen" from Sound of Music, since Rolfe always reminded her of that character in that movie.
