Fernandez has impressed in the last few minutes...covering up for some bad play. Both CBs have been pretty good.

For those of you who have watched Sosa more than I have, what's his natural position? What are his best attributes?
By the by, I also like what Fernandez brings in the air on dead balls.

Fernandez has impressed for sure. Sosa is mainly a RM or RW but does neither effectively.

When was Di Maria subbed out???

Haha...I had no idea he was still playing. Nice finish though.

Remember this date folks as the one and only day Sosa contributed to the NT.

To be honest, I think his performance in the 2nd half of the Colombia game was his best contribution. He is still sucks, though.

Trying to chip the keeper. He usually does that a lot better though.

You just need to criticize him a bit more during games...That seemed to work this time.

Congrats on the victory. Nice to see good crisp passing once again.

Positives: Really good play by Fernandez, to a lesser extent by Garay. Magical at times up front, though I doubt that approach would be successful in the long run.

Not so goods: The midfield didn't work out so well. Meh performance by Gago, and Masch got worse as the match progressed.

Bad: Real discouraging play by Zaba...and Clemente almost invisible. I would be really interested to know what the directives from Sabella were for those two guys and Gago. Neither fullback joined in on the attack as much as I would like/expect.

    POSITIVES: WE KICKED THEIR ASS!

    QUE TOQUETEO, POBRE ECUADOR...

NEGATIVES: SURE, WE CAN PLAY BETTER.

lol Sosa was messing everything he touched but I ll take his assist to di maria and shut up a bit. How the hell was that not a penalty on kun ?? He is not a diver and had no reason to give up on the ball wtf ?

Someone tell our midfield to stop passing the ball backward, I swear 80% of those passes end up in turnovers.

Even though I missed the first 3 goals, as I watched it seemed like something was a bit off. But lets hope Sabella will figure it out as time goes on. I doubt he would be content with just this. But if Messi wants to shine, he needs Kun and Pipita with him to give him freedom.

I thought Gago was solid today, Masche not so much. Zaba/Clemente, no comment. Garay is playing to his potential, think he will be solid. Fernandez was good as you pointed out. Overall, we got our 3 points, top of the tables(probably will change, we have a game in hand, some teams have to play catch up). But 3 points.

Turnovers are bad, was it like that before we scored? Because it seemed the team got sloppy in the second half.

I'm so unimpressed with the defense. I really thought that we would do much better but its just not having. Zabaleta was a shadow of himself, Clemente the same. Gago on the other hand seems to have moved forward and can contribute. Mascherano, another player who was a shadow of himself. I'm glad that he wont play next game.

Also the Substitution of Aguero was completely off. It really should have been DiMaria at that point and I say this even though he ended up scoring a goal afterwards.

The team was a little less sloppy in the first half. But it wasn't that much better.
