Those leaked Adizeros dont go with the other design that has been leaked in more places, the yellow and black boot. Where did the source come from? plus does anyone know when the new design of the adizeros is released? Im guessing the winter?

The adiZero's 3 will be released in 2012 december...

Speaking on the 11pro, it may be that studs are bladed ... Robin van Persie is using Predator LZ with bladed studs... So do not surprise me with a bladed 11pro ...

I wasn't being a jerk...I was just pointing out that it is likely that they recycled some design elements due to this.

And you know this how? do you have the sales figures with you? Didn't think so...

And you start, I really hoped you had gone away for good last time......I am guessing you have the sales figures with you to refute my position? (Rhetorical, don't answer).

And, no I don't have sales figures; I would have to collect that from every individual retailer in the world (I don't have the time or desire). Adidas would have strong sales figures on a brand new release shoe no matter what, as they mostly sell to retailers and don't take RA's for things that don't sell out in third party retail shops (I know this because....I managed a soccer store and worked at another when I was in college). So while adidas could say "we sold 99% of our stock" they sold it to retailers -that they force to bulk order via spending quotas- the retailers will most likely tell you a different story. I know several shops near me that have been sitting on their inventory, because no one wants the shoe (for reasons not relevant here). If you want to see how adidas (the company) is doing with the shoe, check back into their sales figures when the shoe hits it's second or third colorway....when the retailers (outside of Soccer.com types) aren't ordering it anymore -like the 7406- then you will see how much of a failure a shoe is or isn't on the producer level.

My statement was also more of general one, and a reference to the fact aside from Lampard, even their paid endorsers repping the silo are avoiding the shoe, so as a concept and an image/symbol, it has already failed. Products like this don't have a slow uptick in their life cycle....they either start out hot and then maintain (adiZero) or die off (Laser IV), or they outright flop....for all intents and purposes this was a marketing/image flop (qualitative not quantitative theory).

BTW, I know what you are trying to do....you want to try to nail me on something because I called you on making up numbers about marketing vs. performance. Sadly, you are too thick to see that the argument you are trying to turn on me is weak, nor do you have the required ability to persuade.

If you wish to keep trying to refute me, or argue with me....PM me, I am not going to waste the reading space of others quibbling with you over non-sense.

First impressions of the release boots:

    Positives:

They really so feel super, super lightweight.
The upper is so soft, it's really fantastic.
Each of the zones are very grippy, especially the dribble zone.
The design is actually quite nice in person.
I really like the tongue, it's different and good.

    Negatives:

    They smell funny.
The soleplate has this funny glitter in it, looks bizarre.
The pass pad thing is pretty thin, can't tell whether it'll make a difference.

Okay.. So I've just been for a little kick about in them.

The five different zones.. Do they appear to work?

Dribbling - You can definitely feel a bit more grip, but whether its worth having it on the boot.. I'm not sure. They seem just a little too far on the outside of the foot to be of any use. They strike me more as a control thing than anything.
First touch - Yes, I like this a lot. That extra grip really, really helps. The ball just sticks. Not in a bad way, but in a fantastic way. I like this zone a lot.
Drive - Not sure on this one. I didn't do any long 50 yard passes. I just kicked the ball about a bit. It didn't strike me as a power boot at all.
Sweet spot - The area that this is on the boot just feels a little strange. When I tried curling it there the ball just did this funny thing in the air. It was almost like a knuckle but had a bit of side spin.
Pass - Meh. When I tried passing the ball it just felt too cushioned and I couldn't get any power on it. It needed to be hard like the first Maestris.

Sounds like I'm being quite critical here. It's hard to tell from first wear, but I do like them a lot. The upper is honestly as soft as the suede upper on the Vapor VIIIs which is amazing. They are super comfortable, fit nicer than AdiZeros and 11Pros.. And are lightweight.

    I like them a lot.

Loving the whiteout's & blackout's......adidas finally taking note that these are colourways that people want on all silo's & offering it as a release. Rather than horrendous "slime" colours

Blue/red one. It's nicer in person I think. Online it looked a bit cheap, but here it's nice. I've took a few very low quality pics (on my iPod lol) of areas that have tended to be ignored. Apologies for the messy room too, been busy of late.

I've tried to show how soft the upper is photo 5... I'm literally just putting my finger on them. I love it. The pass pad stands off the upper quite substantially, the insole is the standard Pred one from AdiPowers..

Like I said, any questions and feel free to ask. I'm really, really surprised at how good they are. I was expecting them to be a massive flop, but Adidas have done a good job. I genuinely think the 'Hybridtouch' synthetic is better than the current leather attempts from Adidas. Although that isn't saying a lot.

The whiteout and blackouts are being released because the new AdiZeros + AdiPures are coming out soon.. Not because Adidas have FINALLY seen sense.. So please don't give them credit. ;)

There will be more horrendous colourways, I promise you. It'd be nice if they released some blackouts just because they're popular and look nice though.

Does anyone know when the silver/blue/yellow adizeros are out? I'm guessing it could be a while considering it seems to be the white/yellow/black colourway followed by the black out and white out colourways?

The best way I'd discribe the LZs is adizeros with rubber stripes stuck on them. I alway try not to review boots until I've worn them for a couple of weeks, I think everyone always gets new boot excitement and gives them a better review than they deserve.

I stick by the initial comments I made about boot, but I won't be able to give a decent review on the LZs for a week or two, i will of had them for about a month then :)

Saying that - it will take an amazing boots to keep me away from adizeros at the minute!

Hey appleCORR - do you mean these?

If so, I have it on good authority they'd been pulled by adidas - somehow they made it onto adi's retail sites, but it was a mix-up at their end.

Yup! Those were the bad boys! Tbh I didn't like them until a isaw a YouTube video posted on here about someone unboxing a pair and I thought they looked really good.

I'm not really interested in the blackout and whiteout colourways. The next one I wanted was the green/black colourway, but again, I haven't seen anything else about that colourway since the pictures were on here. Might opt for some miadidas I think.

Pretty new to the forum but I'm curious has anybody had problems finding the adizero studs too slippery for ball rolls and drag backs?
