Yesterday, Uzzhorod defeated Oxtyrka to claim a place in the upcoming season. More Zakrap from the захід. The last place is still for grabs as the Kozaks are now stumbling to the finish line. They will have one huge match coming up against FC Sevastopol who has played since the winter break with all intent to get back to the Premier League.
Kozaky creamed Krymteplysia 4-0 to go 4 points clear. Sevastopol go to Odesa today. . A win sets up a thriller next Thursday night in Sevastopol as they host the Kozaks.
Hoverla-Zakarpattya L'viv ?!?!?! http://ukrfootball.in.ua/first-league/4606-hoverla-zakarpattia-u-2012-rotsi-hratyme-na-areni-lviv
Kozaks win while Sevastopol were up against Bukovyna and were held to 1-1 draw. Kozaky back in Premier League!
Yeah they will be using it while their stadium is going to be upgraded. I'd rather have them play at Ukraina stadium and have Karpaty play at Arena Lviv (which they still might), but as usual in Ukraine everything is done the retarded way.
Sevastopol get what they deserve. Bukovyna got financially stimulated though (by Kolomoyskiy who admitted to it earlier) showing how they were celebrating a draw lol
Poetic justice... Sevastopol have only themselves to blame, though. They screwed around most of the Fall before they finally got going.
Can't believe Sevastopol blew their chance! I wanted them to win until what happened last week. I'm ok with this turn of events now, justice served.
Karpaty are close to appointing Viktor Goncharenko as head coach. He's the current BATE head coach and in my opinion has done an amazing job there as a very young manager. I think this is a very good move. The other good options that I saw was Maxymov, but this was a good surprise to read in the news today.
Can someone help me understand the difference between the "A" and "B" squad lists for teams? Just looking at Shakhtar's squad lists released today and wondering how they work. Are "B" players still considered first teamers, or do they make up the reserve team? Here is the link, would appreciate any insights. http://shakhtar.com/en/news/22507
From the team squads its obvious that the team "B" squad has players that have had little first team experience. But looking at the team lists also begs the question whether all 24 team "A" players will only be confined Premier League or will they cross into the Reserves competition. To me the Team "B" looks solely of players that will be playing in the new U19 competition. Also in consideration is that now both Shakhtar and Dynamo will have 4 teams in national competitions. Dynamo-2 still competes in Persha Liha and Shakhtar-3 completes in Druha Liha Hrupa "B".
Speaking of this, to celebrate the opening day of the new season in their new stadium Chornomorets football club will be hosting me. Autographs and photos will be available before the game.
Sure. A-list is limited to 25 max, 4 must be "raised in club" (at least 3 years at the club before they turn 21 y.o.). In Shakhtar case that's Fedetskiy, Rakitskiy, Gai, Chygrynskiy and Seleznyov. B-list is for players that were born January 1st 1991 or earlier. It has no quantity limit. All these players from both list are eligible to play at all three competitions (UPL, Reserves and U19) if age and further rules apply. It means that Tankovskiy can play in all 3 of them. So nothing stops Kryvtsov from playing for the first team but there's no chance that he can play for U-19. Also bear in mind that Reserves league has severe quantity limit for foreigners and players above 21 on the pitch. Still don't know about U19, but I guess foreigners and above 19 are completely banned there.
2012/13 - four 13/14 - six 14/15 - seven 15/16 - eight and from that season limit on foreigners on the pitch will be terminated. 8 is nearly impossible for ukrainian clubs so far.
8 players in the "A-list" will be difficult but not impossible. The new U19 compeition should help but it will force clubs to sign their ДЮСШ boys to some sort of contract so they don't walk away. Do you have a source for this information and the rules regards number of foreigners on the pitch at any time in the game?
