Good call! Although he may be too expensive for Houston...I've only been wrong 1 or 2,000 times however :)

Tony Guinn steps down at Western Illinois to coach UW-Whitewater's men's side. Back up to four openings.

What happened to Pete Pososki at VA Tech? Did he take a club gig?

Rumor is that Pete left to go back to Penn, but this time on the men's side.
That means 3 ACC programs currently do not have a first assistant: VA Tech, Maryland, and Florida State. VT and UMd went to the Sweet 16, FSU to the Final Four. Would think programs like these would have first assistants in place through the spring and especially through the big recruiting season. Maryland may continue to have problems finding an assistant as Jon Morgan was reportedly given a short contract term.

The SMU AD didnt get fired over Erwin. Who is the 2nd AD to get fired over soccer? Rumor (I dont want to see this) is that the current assistants are one for one more year, and maybe in the running on an interim basis? Say it aint so? Someone mentioned Patrick Baker.......as an alumni, I woudl like to see that.

Out here on the west coast, we want to know about Houston as there are a number of Cali kids on the roster? Whats going on in H-Town? A club coach has mentioned a coach from the AD's Previouse University has been offered the job? Any truth to that? I think SMU and Houston are showing the commitment or care to Women's Soccer?????

    Wow! From Minnesota's Twitter account:
"Mikki Denney Wright has resigned as head coach of the women's soccer team. She intends to spend more time with her family. #Gophers"

Well, I think she made a great choice. It will be interetsing to see who outside of the current staff applies. Gonna be aquward with Erwin still around. Plus in the state of Texas we still have SMU, Houston, and Lamar. and also Western Illinois. Open anyone in the Know hear anything. I hearing SMU is dragging both feet?

Heard Minnesota is only interested in current, female, successful, DI, Head coaches..... Way to narrow your search in late May!

As a matter of fact, OSU did walk all over GVSU (4-0 in 2011 and 4-1 in 2012).

google, not that hard nor time consuming. She's the head coach at Army.

Yeah, Ellis didn't leave UCLA last year to take the SMU job now. But I suppose everyone has to have a dream

I cut and pasted from attackerp's post. And even w/ googling w/ an alternative spelling of Stefanie and Gloulan, the Army athletic site still pops up on the 1st page.

As for the likelihood that she goes to Houston...she was the associate head coach at Army b/f getting the head job. They made the NCAAs, don't appear to have lost tons by way of graduation, and I don't think she'd leave the cadets at this late date in the calendar. But I've been (really) wrong before...
