Nice win for the A's, but it's all downhill from here, as they have to return to the worst park in MLB and play in front of an empty stadium. Oh well, maybe this Cespedes guy will turn into a player.

Bringing Ali out to throw out the 1st pitch was depressing. Nice job Marlins

Marlins are going to be better this year, but I still have to think that my beloved Phillies (although banged up) will take home another NL East crown

Once again, I will hope that the Pirates can break their longest-in-American-sports streak of 19 consecutive losing seasons. We flirted with .510 up until August and a disastrous 19th inning decision vs Atlanta, but there is some hope. Not as much as the Nationals have this year, but still some hope....

    That was odd.

If anything it was just a warning of what head injuries can do.

Good luck with that. I haven't seen anything that makes the Pirates any better than they were last year. You may have a little benefit from the weakening of the division with the loss of Pujols and LaRussa from the Cards and the Fat One from the Brewers, but with what Cincy has been doing, the Pirates will in all likelihood keep their position as the bottom of the division.

    Sorry.

I could throw a perfect game against Seattle's AA offense.

Josh Hamilton is just amazing, and that Texas offense looks unstoppable right now.
