Bloody hell.....you blokes left it late, didn't you..? Then again, I wouldn't expect City to do it any other way.

But many, many sincere congratulations to you guys today. City were the best team over the duration of the season and this title is so very well deserved.

On the TV, I can see Franny in the tunnel at the moment, enjoying talking to the lads and he looks like he's going to break down. Nobody would blame him and I'm sure nobody would think he's a wussy for it. He loves City as much as any supporter .

Neville is saying well done, and trying not to choke on the words.

Anyway... just want to say again..... the biggest of congratulations. Well played City. You earned it and you deserve it. Now enjoy the celebrations lads.

The best game of my life. Bar none. (Sad thing bout Joey Barton tho.... Where he was to where he is now. That game just had every kind of emotion imaginable).

I think Mario Balotelli deserves praise. He really put a shift in his short cameo if it wasn't for him. HE wouldn't have created an opportunity for Aguero's goal. They all deserve praise but for someone like him who always catches heat. I would like to give him his due. I don't know about his future with the club but maybe winning will show him what he can accomplish if he focuses on his career. I still think he has a future with Man City. He's one of the brightest young talents in the Premiership.

Yes, both late subs were inspired choices again by Mancini whose tactical decisions have been spot on lately. Late sub #1 scores the all-important equalizer while late sub #2 sets up the all important title winning, history changing goal. :)

Weren't they his second and third subs? The first was De Jong for Yaya. De Jong was excellent as well (for what he is). I don't know about you but I'm not a big Balotelli fan but the way he played out there was with the same desire like his teammates. He ran around and put himself into dangerous positions. He should have scored on a header but his assist where he loses the ball and instead of whining like he would do on some occasions. He goes to ground to toe poke it into Aguero's path. I'm not saying he's changed but I know he was fighting for the title as hard as anyone else. Fighting for the club, the staff, his teammates and the cause. Good on him.

Yeah I know De Jong came on first, that's why I said late subs. :)

Balotelli has been hugely frustrating, he can go from unplayable to a little brat in 30 seconds but when he's at his best (6-1 massacre, United couldn't handle him!) he is incredible. I wish he could settle down and just focus, I think he could be one of the best forwards in the world if he could just focus.

    Congrats.

Couldn't ask for much more drama than that.

It's good for the league when someone other than United take home the title.

The parallels are amazing between Dickov's goal that may have saved our club by and Aguero's goal that brought forth the golden age. I think we finally have a moment that surpasses Dickov's goal.

Nothing is ever done the easy way at this club but I don't think there could have been a more poetic way to win us the league! :D

Not a City fan, but seeing Old Red Nose alarmed state of mind after the Aguero goal was priceless. You guys beat ManU both times this year and deserved the title. Most exciting match I've seen in a long time. They'll still be talking about this one 100 years from now!

I think you all owe Joey Barton and his right elbow a huge thank you. It was the time added on for his red card incident that Aguero scored in.

Just a little thought here, guys..... As well as watching on Sky, I had the radio on too, and as City were getting the ball back to the middle after Dzecko's equaliser, the radio commentator said that it was a strange sight to see both sets of fans celebrating when a goal is scored.

The reason why the QPR fans were jumping up and down, as the game restarted, was that news had just come in that the Stoke vs Bolton game had finished a draw and Rangers were safe.

I might suggest it's possible that the QPR fans joy had transmitted itself to the Rangers players, so they knew they were safe from relegation and mentally switched off. Their result no longer mattered. It caused them to lose concentration just enough for Sergio Aguero to nip in and score THAT goal.

    Modern communications.... aren't they wonderful......

    Well done light Blues...

After the final whistle blew at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland on Sunday, preparations were being made behind-the-scenes to announce Manchester United as Premier League champions for the 2011-12 season.
As this above photo above shows, a sign was being prepared with Manchester United’s name on it as Premier League champions. Unfortunately for United, as the City match went into added time, Manchester City scored a goal to level the game 2-2, and then scored the winner with just 40 seconds to go in added time.
It was a cruel blow ;) to Manchester United’s season, and an unfortunate way:ROFLMAO: to end the season losing on goal difference when they thought they had done everything they needed to win it.
