Just for fun.. There was an interview of CY Lee, and a bit of talk about Miyaichi was there.

    ...

Let's talk about Bolton. They are in relegation battle.

The rank is close to relegation but I'm sure Bolton will stay in EPL. I feel sorry that I can't help but our team has quality to stay in EPL. Tim and Ryo joined us in winter and everyone is doing well. If I can play last few matches, I want to help them.

Are you getting along well with Ryo?

He is like a child. He looks young but when you are with him he really is like a little brother. Life and food culture is similar so we visit each other often and get along well. But he eats too much. Maybe he is sill growing.

Do you feel any kind of rivaly because of the position?

No. Ah, but there is one thing. When we play football game I choose Barcelona and Ryo chooses Real Madrid. But even if they are big rivals in real world we don't really get serious, and most times I win. But when we use national teams the mood changes completely. Of course I choose Korea and Ryo chooses Japan, but strangely my win rate goes down a little bit. Still, I win most of the times.

    ...

Did anyone see how he did against Aston Villa? I saw he was substituted after the 1st half...

Only saw part of it (final 10-15 minutes of 1st half), and he seemed to struggle against his counterpart, not being able to get past him when he tried.

He get tackle by opponent around 30minute, i think he had hurt his right shoulder again... maybe this is 1 of the reason he is taking off at half time.

Defenders are starting to understand his game in recent games, that Swansea LB did an especially good job. All this match experience is priceless for Ryo.

RM is Ryo's non-preferred side. I wish he played at LM again. But it's good that he's being made to play RM I suppose cause he has to be a bit smarter he can't just cut in quite as easily.

Arsenal and Köln finally announced Podolski's transfer. I am just wondering... if Miyaichi is not better off loaned out next season too.

Werent there talks of Ryo staying at Bolton again if they avoid relegation, I'm sure Coyle (And a lot of other EPL clubs) would be interested.

Walcott, Gervinho, Ox...way too much competition for Ryo at this stage of his career.

If he plays like he did the last couple of weeks he won't even make the bench by the way.

agreed. :/ He looks having a fatigue problem, but he made some bench too, so no excuses.

That's what I think too. He seems to stagnate a bit, and playing on the right doesn't help.

I don't think it's a matter of side, he has no left foot, and he was pretty good on the right when they won against Blackburn.

I saw only part of the match against Villa recently, and I thought he was disappointing on the right. Then again, I didn't see much Bolton.

I sort of wish he had continued his development and progression as a player in Holland. I mean, he hadn't even played a full season in the Eredivisie, and while he had some great matches, I know some Feyenoord fans realized he still had a lot to learn. People talk about how great the Dutch league is at developing youth prospects. He's still not far out of high school footy and it's difficult for him as he's been shifted around from club, to club, to club - he can't settle. Now he's already in the league people call the toughest and this after a brief stint in Holland - Kagawa is further developed as a player and can take the challenge, but I fear Ryo's development will stagnate due to the path that he's taken.

I disagree, but I admit that I don't have much of a great opinion about the Eredivisie.

One of the most incredible days in football.

Anyway, Bolton relegated so Miyaichi probably won't extend his stay there. His performances went kinda downhill after Blackburn game. Hope he gets loaned out to another EPL team...Blackpool if theyre promoted!

It really was. Craziest day, craziest second half, craziest 5 minutes. Incredible.
