muntari was ok at inter but i agree with other posters that he doesn't need to be anywhere near arsenal...loads of better players out there anyway.

Unfortunately Real Madrid's debt is entirely manageable. They have absolutely no reason to sell players because of it

Is it? The article didn't focus on Real more on ACS. So why is there all this handwringing about City when their owners are way more liquid than Real's?

Someone may have already brought this up, and I don't know if the quote is verified as genuine but still, Poldi knows how to pander properly:
"Tottenham wanted my signature in January but I didn't even know that club existed until last year."

It's funny how you call him a tough SOB, and I see him getting mauled in both of those fights.

I'm straight and have a hot girlfriend, but I can still laugh at someone pretending to be super straight posting pictures of a man with his top off saying how hard he is

Hey, I never questioned your sexuality (nor do I care about an irrelevant point such as your girlfriend). I said that because I'm straight that I would never possibly imagine what you said you could. No need to get defensive. You really need to re-read my post and "get it" as you clearly didn't. That has lead to your obvious overreaction.

If you want to question my sexuality then be my guest but I never said that I can imagine another dude pleasuring himself. If you need to reach in order to attain personal amusement, have at it because what you are trying to do is trying to make something out of nothing on my part. OMG, a picture with a shirtless man illustrating a humorous prospect. OH NOES! (That is nothing compared to what you can imagine) Get a grip.

BTW, I had no idea that "super straight" was a new sexual orientation. Did you just make that up? Please tell me more. I'm straight, so I had no idea that such a level of heterosexuality was attainable.

    Agreed.

On topic, I wonder who is going to be released/sold this summer. Should be interesting. I just hope any deals are finished before the Euros start as transfer prices can get inflated rather quickly as we have seen in the past.

After the excitement of Podolski signing, and the big assumption that M'villa was going to sign too, we've kinda reverted to type with Wenger doing his standard ' ze transfer market is going to be quiet zis summer' talk. I'm hoping that should results go the right way tomorrow and we get to clear away the dead wood, he'll be a little more positive, otherwise, 3rd is going the best we can hope for next season.

There is a fair bit of talk from people who know more than me that this summer losses will be cut, but when you hear Wenger talking about Diaby being a new signing, I get the feeling that come the beginning of the season there will be at least a couple of pointless players still in the squad (Park, Denilson etc.etc.)

Idk about Park - we could probably get 4-5 million from him because of the extension of his service. Nice little piece of business that.

from the way wenger sounded, you'd have to think that at least one park or chamakh have got to be gone. i wonder if we can find a taker who is willing to meet bendtner's contractual demand. benayoun sounds like he wants to be back but, even at a discounted contract, i can't tell if wenger will want to allocate a spot on the 25 for him. you would have to think that squillaci would want out since he won't be higher than 5th. i think we'll have a better chance to find a buyer for decent price if denilson would go on loan in spain or italy, i can't see the market for him being any better after a less than impressive season in brazil. since he just helped them win another title, maybe zenit will want to take arshavin back. there were supposedly offers for diaby last summer but, after another injury-filled season, can there really be more? vela obviously wants to stay in spain and wenger doesn't trust him so i hope they can reach an agreement. oh, and almunia's contract is up, i think. am i missing anyone from the fringe?

Well with Champions League qualification secured, that should help any new signings make up their mind.
