Morante has always been injury prone. But its gonna be tough for rueda to call him up. rueda is picky about players who get minutes on the field and dont so morante isnt looking too good right now kind of a blower because i see him and erazo as the best as well. i feel like the pressure to play + the injury+ being new to a very competitive club all dont mix well and have effected him negatively. i hope this injury is just a bruise or something small HE NEEDS TO PLAY!!!

hasnt lost form at all. no matter if hes in 2nd division or whatever, he would be playing well at top level if his team had not been relegated.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2123843/Tottenham-want-sign-Christian-Ramirez.html Christian better start learning English but Joao Plata is better!
cristian ramirez 10 day trial at Tottenham starts today. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/s...l-ecuadorian-starlet-cristian-ramirez?cc=5901 I hope that Cristian Ramirez heard Eduardo Hurtados's advice. Years ago while Hurtado was being interviewed by Romulo Barcos said an Ecuadorian footballer should leave and do the impossible never come back..
i knew about this kid over a year ago. What his age though? a year ago they said he was 15. Now he's 11 years old? wtf did i go in a time machine or something
Re: Ecuatorianos en el exterior, CASQUETE? la otra respuesta posible: es que esa info sea 4 yrs old!!
He's 15 yrs old now...they're saying he arrived at River when he was 11. On another note, whatever happened to Joel Valencia....haven't heard about that kid in a while.
last i heard he moved up to Zaragozas first team after December or January but hes not getting playing time. He doesnt play with Zaragoza B anymore since he moved up. I read something about it a few weeks ago. It was bound to happen. He did train with the first team all the time since the beginning of the season so i guess they finally gave him a chance.
at his age, even training with the first team is good enough. The kid is definitely a promising player though. I wonder what will happen next season.
I'm not sure that he is. I overheard an Ecua colleague talk about Joel as being from a different part of Ecuador.
Youngster Augusto Quintero is breaking out in Serbia, he has scored 6 goals in the last 9 games for OFK Belgrade and today he scored against giants Red Star. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kDWnDXuO4-0&feature=g-all-u"]OFK Beograd - Crvena zvezda 1:1 , golovi 25.04.2012. - YouTube[/ame] There are rumours that Partizan are looking to buy him this summer to help them try and reach the Champions League again. He also has interest from clubs in Poland and Ukraine.
I think he goes by Augusto Batioja. But anyway, he's gonna have to get out of the Serbian league to interest Rueda IMO. He needs to prove himself in a tougher league, but calling him up for a friendly sometime later this year wouldnt hurt. Doesnt deserve to get called up for the Qualifiers until he can prove something in a friendly.
He's young, but one to keep an eye on. Serbia is not a big league, but they produce some of the best players in Europe, and the clubs have a good eye for young talent. Segundo Castillo launched his career there, and though he didn't make it in the EPL, he's certainly had a successful career in Mexico and has been one of the consistent performers on the NT. Also, it shows something about a player's mentality when he can go away from home to a totally different culture and be successful. Would be great for him to play on a team in the CL or Europa League.
You have you point. I think there should be players like him, Ibarra, Fidel Martinez, and others who should get called up for a few friendlies before making a decision to call them up for a Qualifier. At this point, our selection in those positions is greater than ever and IMO it's smarter to go with the players we are already familiar with (Suarez, Montero, Rojas, Arroyo, Guerron) before selecting any other player.
Jefferson Hurtado might be on his way back to Ecuador (specifically to El nacional). Supposedly hes 100% now and ready to play but he cant b/c another foreigner (a striker) took over the vacant extranjero spot he occupied in Arg. Juniors. Sucks for him. He had all it took to make it in that league but apparently hes desperate to get playing time and seems like he has little patience to wait til after the season is over for him to play again.
Alex Bolanos to France (maybe)! Lol I'll classify this one right under "Minda to Estudiantes de la Plata". Interest from Mexico seems more under the realm of possibility. Maybe he's one of the two players Deportivo Quito are planning to sell when the next transfer window opens. My money is on Fidel Martinez being the other one. http://teradeportes.com/bolanos-muy-cerca-de-salir-del-pais-han-preguntado
Totally one of those sensationalized rumors. I always wait for it to pan out, and it rarely ever does, lol. Anyway, the kid definitely can go abroad...and the French league will grow now that PSG is starting to flex some muscle...it might turn into another foreign ownership spree as the years pass by. For the sake of Ecuafutbol, I hope we send more players to Europe, especially if it's to a smaller league or a well known one with a team that will give a guy playing time.
LOL Alex Bolanos isnt going to any French team hahahah. That kid's reputation is worse than Michael Arroyo's or his younger brother's (which i personally dont think is that bad). I hope this isnt one of the players we send to Europe at all. He's indisciplined and is not any better than Oswaldo Minda. That's not the type of reputation you want European teams having of our players. PLEASE NO!!
holy sh*t Villarreal got relegated. I wonder if they'll force Montero to come back and play in the 2nd division with him. THAT WOULD BE SOME SHIT!! I hate Villarreal that place is a f*cking trap for our players. They better allow him to transfer somewhere and not force him to be playing in a bullshit 2nd division. I hope Real Betis can come through will a considerable amount of money and make an offer that Villarreal will take.
