you are just saying random things like 'you are moving the goalposts' and not focusing on the discussion on hand. where is your proof that someone with a bmi of 28 has to pay more like you said was the case? you were incorrect so you need to admit it instead of making random claims such as overweight women earn 5000 less. fat men earn 2000 less? that is because fat people are usually stupid so it makes sense. it is not because they are not accepted when applying for higher paying jobs due to fatness. if anything they get hired more due to affirmative action. you can stop repeating 'you pay more because your demographic group costs insurers more' for the millionth time now. it is natural of you to try to end this because you dont have really much to say regarding this, and i refuted all of your claims. it is fine with me; i proved my point.

you would have a better chance of making me go away by eating me than saying something ridiculous like that.

That's not a random thing. That's something you did.
I made no such claim. But hey, if it helps you feel better to knock than straw men, then bully for you. You were the one putting an arbitrary number on where obesity should cost you more.
    Not a random claim. It's a documented claim. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1448278/
It's clear you don't understand how control groups in studies work, which isn't a surprise to anyone who's not stupid.

Why? You seem to have such a hard time grasping it.
You don't understand how proof works. Again, not a surprise.

Florida is the worst at this, especially for running. Given the amount of tourists (driving styles) that converge on the Sunshine state, I made it a habit to run behind the car. Even then, that doesn't work.

So I've heard. Miami area has to be about the worst place to bike. Between the a-hole drivers and a-hole cyclists riding in packs without any regard for the other, it is quite hostile. I ride a bit in the area between Boca and West Palm on A1A, motorists are very accommodating. Seems they are used to having many cyclists in the area. Once you cross off the intercoastal waterway onto the mainland, it becomes like a Mad Max movie.

Pretty much. It is bad in every of the tourist town in Florida (Miami, Tampa area, Orlando etc). As far as places like Kentucky. It's not that they don't care. They aren't used to runners/bikers and don't know how to handle them. Drivers spend most of the time looking out for other drivers, then here comes a runner or bicyclist.

Back on-topic. I am interested in the discrimination angle. Someone mentioned Hooters as a company that looks for a specific set of "physical traits." I know this is comparing apples to oranges but did a quick Google search and found a few:

I don't know if I would go so fare as to call a brother fat. I mean, yeah, he's got a weight problem but he's half Samoan. What's a Founding Father gonna do?
