i think jason will wait 10 more minutes to see how the flow of the game goes down the final stretch. if he feels that RSL can sneak away with the 3 points maybe he goes with velasquez and goes for the jugular. if he feels like we are on the back foot and need shoring up, maybe he goes with alvarez or borchers to shore it up.

edit: lol, as i press submit on this post dunny says the same exact thing. i should be an analyst.

Well, there's no way you sub your d-mid in a game like this. Not one chance in one hundred. Not starting his would make sense, but subbing him out would make none at all.

especially when he's your captain and he is playing great. no way beckerman is coming off. maybe alvarez comes on for grabavoy or steele, but not kyle.

Why wait , we are tired and have another game on sat...put defense in for the tired legs and go for a tie. Especially since he only likes his starters and thinks they are superhuman

this is a game of momentum, the team is playing ok right now. there could be HUGE shifts in momentum and if you make a sub now it could backfire tremendously. better to wait 5 minutes or so and see how the game changes for the final 10 minutes. an extra 5 minutes for any of these guys isnt going to make a lick of difference for saturday.

Our midfield and forwards have no chemistry. ugh. So many wasted chances because of bad passes or bad reads.

lol, dont think i've seen that before in a MLS match, ball has an air issue, has to be switched out.

i dont think this midfield/foward combo has ever played a match together, tough to fault them for that.

This will never happen but I'd like to see Jason sub off Sabo for Alverez and move Beckerman up top.

What about an 18 y.o. stop playing and hope the ref listens to him magically rather than putting the ball out of bounds, thus resulting in a counterattack? Terrible decision from Gil.

Someone explain our coach for me. it seems like jason only likes 12/13 players whereas no one else is worth anything. If that is the case then get rid of the players and use their money to get some better players. These 12/13 will not be able to go the whole season playing every min. If we lose or do not get a tie I blame Jason for not putting some fresh legs in for the tie. Take out saborio for fresh legs.

    alvarez coming on, settle down.

for gil, interestingly. steele should not be playing right now IMO. even if he does have ice in his veins for those late goals. he's been terrible tonight.

Bonfigli is the only one who hasn't had a lot of minutes. When Paulo was out there we didn't look that greta either.

its not just a matter of minutes, it's a matter of playing with each other and knowing what each other is going to do in certain game situations. even with paulo the midfield forward combo of gil, grabs, steele, sabo and paulo have zero game experience with each other.
0-0 final. i'll take it. point on the road for a midweek match.

beckerman motm for me, schuler is a close second. those two were rocks and played very well all night long.

This is a pretty good point on the road, especially given the early chance for Oduro and the early sub for Morales's injury.

god damn, lay off. he did fine considering he pretty much was all by himself, paulo didnt do shit and bonfigli was not very effective either. sabo ran A TON tonight, he ran A TON on saturday night. thats 180+ minutes in 4 days. just give it a rest, jesus.

Take the point, and get ready for Sat. Schular should get more playing time IMO. RSL is almost to deep IMO.

Don't see the Steele hate. I thought he played pretty good. I don't see much difference between him and Will other than Steele has a more dangerous touch when he is on. He was in the middle of two very good RSL chances and looked like he hustled all over the place which is what Will gets credit for.
