sure vucinic is a lazy yugoslavian prick, but if you look at his goals, most of them involve him dribbling past a bunch of people, or shooting from tight angles and difficult situations. scoring from practically nothing

we don't have anyone who can do that atm. not saying vucinic is a better forward, but he can definitely create chances for himself better

Those are Quaresma type of goals, I mean he shoots with 'outside foot' like this
Well, in that game i sure see two great stuff, first is the goal, and second is 10 minutes extra time:D

i meant it as a joke lol, didn't mean any offense. i have a lot of friends living in current serbia and bosnia and i like making fun of them by calling them drunk yugos. i lived near skopje before the breakup so i'm used to calling it that too. i was a kid at that point so i really didn't have any clue what was going on politically in the country

Well, I think it should be neither Vucinic nor Jovetic...The real name is Savicevic, no?

Rooney overhead kick is voted by the fans for the best goal in last 20 years

Dennis Bergkamp’s goal against Newcastle in 2002 coming second, and Thierry Henry’s flick and volley from 2000 against United are third

rooney's goal was pretty stupid. i've seen better. taddei's done better

but even within the EPL, i've seen better bicycle kicks and better goals. heck even the cisse goal recently was better imo

yesterday chelsea won fa cup with di matteo.Along with reaching CL final.
DI Matteo isnt rated as top manager, has he made AVB unemployable now?

    Italian Managers this year:
    Russian league ( Spalletti)
    FA CUP ( Di matteo)
Serie A ( Conte or Allegri)

    Fighting for:
    French league ( Ancelotti)
    English league ( Mancini)
    Champions league ( di matteo)

thats 5 of the big 8 trophies in europe ( epl, la liga, ligue 1, serie a, bundesliga, portugese, russian, cl).

Di Matteo is not Italian, he's Swiss. ;)

But in all honesty I don't get what your point is in all this. To show the superiority of Italian coaches? What can Di Matteo in a few months at Chelsea really prove? Even Avrham Grant took Chelsea to the CL final, what happened to him after that?

What does Ancelotti going to the richest team in France and challenging a league that has been dominated by one team for the last decade really prove? Even Mancini, with all that money after he crashed out of all competitions, lost a considerable lead to the most mediocre Manchester United we've seen in the last decade. Does it really prove something?

And then there is the biggest question, if Di Matteo is all of sudden to be respected based on his accomplishments this season how come Andre Villas Boas is a complete joke regardless of his accomplishments last season? Is the cut off this season only. If Di Matteo loses the CL and Mancini the Premiership will they go to being considered bums regardless of their Italian heritage?

I guess, I don't really see what Italian football gains from it.
